Sixty-eight. A flight to Cee country
Monalissa got into the black Rolls Royce phantom which she had come in with her master, her mind clouded with thoughts of what Elijah had said. He seemed to know her more. Lots of things she didn't know about herself? With that thought, she realized that she had only memories of Winter walls, nothing except that. What was her younger life like? Who was she before now? Her brows tightened with every thought that swarmed in. She suddenly became scared. What was that Elijah's plan? What did he want to do with the cards he had?
Ezekiel didn't fail to notice his underling's disturbed look. He was also surprised at what Elijah had said but he was still able to maintain his cool. What are the things she didn't know about herself? He immediately took out his cellphone and dialed his assistant's number.
A panting Kim picked up the call. He had just finished his punishment and his phone rang. His Boss must have really timed him.
"Yes Boss, Kim on the line".
"I want to see you at the Realm".
"Yes Boss".
Ezekiel hung up and entered the car. Monalissa didn't seem to notice him and he was pained by it.
"Walker", his cold and deep voice sounded making her heart tremble. She turned her face to the side to look at him.
"Yes master?"
"Don't let Neon's words get to you. And just so you know, I don't care what you're thinking right now but you're not leaving my side", he said.
Monalissa gave him a slight smile. "I'm loyal to you master. I will never leave your side", she said her tone hitting finality.
Ezekiel heaved a deep sigh. "You must have been quite shaken due to his identity right?"
"Yes. I even thought you were duped" she said with a light chuckle.
"I knew. I had Cobra comb the soul-sucking org's database for me... Neon's personal data. He was quite good with the disguise".
"He lied. I hate him already", she said with a slight pout.
Ezekiel noticed that and reached out to touch her lips. Monalissa shivered the moment his fingers traced her lips.
"He seems to know a lot about you. Ones you don't even know".
"That's his only card. It might hurt when he shows the cards but, that can't take me to his side", Monalissa stated.
"I'm your master, and I own you. So, I will protect what's mine".
Monalissa looked into those icy blue orbs, as emotions swirled in. "I will protect you too master in anyway and every way I can", she said with a smile. He might have hurt her in the past but that was something she deserved because she had taken away his family. She didn't blame him at all.
Their car was ignited by the driver and was quickly set in motion, taking them to the Realm.
Elijah took out his cellphone and dialed Elena who was staying with Noel at home, taking care of him. The little boy wasn't so fond of her but Elena didn't want to give up on him. She loved the little boy and his uncle. A soft spot was in her heart for him.
Elijah's mood already improved a lot after listening to the plan that Miss Fords had proposed. It was detailed and easy. Also, they had engaged in a heated session of sex, three rounds in a row and at the moment, she was sound asleep.
"Elena", he called the moment the woman picked up.
"Yes Eli?", Elena replied.
"Book a flight. You're leaving tonight".
Elena gave a start. "What?! To where?"
"Cee country. I already made an appointment for you with the country's president's daughter".
Elena smiled. "Eli, what's the plan?"
"We need to get the president and his wife's favor. They really want to see their daughter".
"Then why go to her daughter? The president should have been the shortest route".
"She needs her parents favor. She's loved but, she doesn't think it's enough. This could get her on our side and make her listen to us".
"Alright Eli".
"Be careful. Those from the Alpha Realm seems to be on guard these days. The Don guy already knows my true identity including Walker".
Elena gasped. " Seriously?!"
"Yes. Alvin will take you to the airport".
"Yes Boss. What of Noel? Who's going to take care of him?"
"A nanny is coming home", Elijah said.
"Alright. Let me get myself ready", Elena said and hurried upstairs to get herself ready.
"Good", he said.
And the line went dead.
