"Most of the city defense forces are heading our way, fifteen minutes might not be enough. Can't we have Luna come pick us up?" Azalea asked, her voice tinged with urgency.
"We should go to her... she's having some difficulties moving right now."
"Difficulties moving?" Azalea's eyes widened with confusion.
"You'll understand when you see her..." Elias replied helplessly.

After taking a deep breath, Elias cautiously peeked out to survey their surroundings. Their journey had been fraught with danger, and if not for their ability to hide in this labyrinthine network of streets, they would have been blown to pieces by the city defense's artillery long ago.
His eyes fixed on a tall bell tower ahead—it was the only suitable cover left.
"We need to make a dash for that tower, then head north for two blocks to reach the drawbridge."
Azalea nodded, "I'll follow your lead."
