The children, buzzing with excitement, swarmed around Tilly.
"Sis is a superhero!!"
"What powers do you have, sis? Can you transform?"
"Can you teach me? I want to be a big hero who protects the city too!"
Tilly's face betrayed a hint of helplessness; she was never good with kids. And how could she explain to these innocent minds?
She wasn't a city's guardian hero but a witch wanted by the city, a threat to human society. Far from protecting, she had thought of destroying it more than once...
"Sis can't transform, but she knows some incredible magic!" Elias chimed in with a smile.
"Wow!!!" The children's eyes widened in amazement.
In the education given to the general populace, magic and witchcraft were distinct; a mage and a seemingly evil witch weren't considered the same.
But those in the know understood they were essentially identical, only deliberately differentiated by the Empire and the Church's propaganda.
