When the morning sunlight spilled onto Elias's face, he slowly opened his eyes.
Perhaps due to last night's battle, his body still felt weary, his head throbbing.
But miraculously, he found that his wounds had healed.
Elias, amazed, stretched out his hands and looked at his chest.
Apart from being covered in blood which was a bit scary, he was indeed fully healed. The vampire's regenerative abilities were unbelievably powerful!
Elias basked in the somewhat glaring morning sun, and more importantly, he didn't inherit the vampire's aversion to sunlight.
He didn't feel any discomfort from the sun's rays.
Elias's stomach growled with hunger, but instead of craving blood, his mind wandered to warm toast and milk.
Even though he had played the game before and knew from the beginning that it would be like this, the surprise was immense when he truly felt an additional mysterious force faintly coursing through his body.
