Elias led Azalea through the sewer junction for a while before the two reemerged onto the surface. The blinding sunlight made Elias squint his eyes. Today was a rare clear day in the City of the Holy Rose, and he cautiously scanned his surroundings.
The entire city was under martial law, and the usually bustling streets of the Eastern District were deserted, with every household's doors tightly shut.
"Next, we'll meet Luna outside the royal palace. We need to be careful not to be spotted by the city defense forces," Elias said, gesturing back at her.
Azalea kept pace with Elias as they stealthily navigated through the narrow alleys.
"By the way, what about Olivia?" Azalea suddenly asked. Since Elias's plan involved Tilly and Luna each having specific roles, Olivia must have one too.
"Her task is crucial," Elias replied. "She should be in a meeting with her confidants right now."
"A meeting?" Azalea raised an eyebrow. "Plotting a coup?"
