In the town of Herglays, it was another cloudy morning.
Elias peered out the window. The sea breeze brought a few raindrops that splattered against the glass, the sound of an approaching storm howling outside.
"Damn this lousy weather..." Elias grumbled, then turned his attention back to the magic book in his hands.
His voice stirred Luna, who was napping against him, and she sleepily opened her eyes.
"Bro... what's up?"
"Nothing," Elias smiled, patting her head gently. "Go back to sleep."
"Okay..." Luna murmured, finding a more comfortable position on Elias's lap.
Despite the gloomy weather outside, the room was warm and cozy.
The fireplace blazed, and Elias read quietly by the firelight. Luna had joined him, but soon she dozed off on his lap.
It had been five days since they arrived in town. Tilly had been busy planning their trip to the island, leaving little time to see Elias.
