But Tilly seemed lost in her own world, unresponsive as if she couldn't hear him.

Her face downturned, black hair cascading down, shrouding her face in shadow, her expression darkening to the extreme.
"I thought... you'd never come back..."
"I even prepared for the worst..."
Her fists clenched tightly, her body trembling with emotion.
