Xavian felt cold sweat run down his spine.
Only one person had called him 'sweet blood' and it wasn't as a pet name.
Instead, it was as she attacked him trying to drain him of his blood, not minding if he died in the process.
However, he had been saved by some mysterious man and given a briefcase for safe keeping.
Which in turn had attacked him by biting me into him and giving him a system.
Which in turn had unlocked the Dhampir bloodline he had in his blood.
It was crazy.
As if reading the thoughts of the blonde teenager, the older woman smiled.
"Xavian Anton, meet me after classes are over."
***
As soon as classes were over, a girl was walking back to her dorms instead of going for lunch.
Walking through the halls was already very difficult for her as she continuously had vivid imaginations of ripping out the throats of the students and draining them of blood.
It was so severe that she could not even concentrate.
"What did that Xavian boy even do to me?!!'
Is all that stuff he said about me being a Dhampir.....true?"
Remembering what he had told her that night, she shuddered.
___
That early morning, two students were standing under the twilight grey skies.
One was covered in blood, and the other was nervous.
Xavian sighed.
"Okay, Anais. I'm going to tell you everything."
She looked curious.
"Please do!. Why am I drinking people's blood, am I now a cannibal?!"
Xavian sighed.
"Well, you're not a cannibal.
You're now like me.
I...I...I am a Dhampir."
Anais tilted her head a bit.
"Dhampir? What the hell is a dhampir?! And how did your hair turn blonde!"
Xavian smiled nervously.
"You see, I'm not a vampire.
I'm actually a hybrid between a vampire and a human.
That's why I can only have two cores, one is a human core, and the other is a vampire one.
A Dhampir is a kind of vampiric creature that can absorb both human and vampire blood.
I am also immune to both silver, the sun, and most Vampire weaknesses.
Great, right? But it's been actually not.
As Dhampir, I'm gonna be killed almost as soon as anyone else knows about my...our existence.
I'm still fairly new to this stuff, so just consult that book, "Dhampir; Facts, information... AND HOW TO KILL THEM" in the library.
It told me all the stuff I needed to know."
Anais had a doubtful look on his face.
"Really?, So you're telling me that you're a mythological vampire-like creature that feeds on all kinds of blood and gets stronger through that?"
"Yeah..."
"Baloney!, What kind of bullsh*t story is that supposed to be?!
And you freaking expect me to believe that?
You must be loony."
Now, she regretted not squeezing more information out of him.
How did he control the bloodlust?
How did he hide his identity for so long?
She knew nothing!
Rather than taking the hand he had offered, even if he was the cause of the problem in the first place, she had threatened to severely harm him if he were to approach her again.
Soon, it would be time for the ball, and she would be in serious trouble if she were to drain someone there.
