Leaving the library, Xavian explored the Crimson Academy Castle a bit more.
It was a gargantuan castle, with hundreds of different classrooms, odd teachers, and odder subjects.
However, he did not have time to contemplate any of these as he had quickly grown tired and retired into his dorm.
Entering the room, he planned to sleep for a while and then go over to the library once again, but instead of the empty room he had dropped his stuff in, he walked into a full room.
These were his roommates.
The first, was a tall boy, preety even by vampire standards, that had short black hair and the usual red eyes, he was putting on a cool leather jacket and had bat-shaped earrings on his ears.
Another, weirdly, was a girl.
She was average looking, petite and had the usual black hair, however, her eyes were bright pink instead of red and seemed to peer into the depths of one's soul.
And the third, was also another girl.
She had long black hair parked into a ponytail, with deep red eyes.
The unnerving thing about her, however, was that she was the splitting image of Max.
"Oh, hello. I was wondering where you had run off to" The boy began.
"I'm Nein Navern, by the way"
Xavian tried to pull a smile, but could only make out a tired smirk.
"Xavian Anton, I think I'm your new roommate. You guys new students like me too, or you're returning?"
"Nope, I'm a returning student"
Nein shrugged.
"New... I'm Elena Drakh by the way"
The third girl had replied.
And the last one just shook her head, not even looking at Xavian,
"New. I don't want to tell you my name."
She was very socially awkward.
"Okay then..." Nein broke the awkward silence the pink eyed girl had created after her awkward answer.
"Let's go to sleep, I guess. I call top bunk"
"Cool"
"Ok"
Xavian and Elena had replied.
Soon the lights were switched off, yet Xavian could not sleep.
Why?
Because the pink eyed girl had not slept.
In the dark dormitory room, her pink pupils glowed in the dark, like every other vampire, but Xavian was not used to such.
Yes, most vampires could stay awake for years and then sleep for centuries, but everyone in the academy was seventeen or less, meaning that they needed at least 20-35 hours of sleep yearly, but up till four in the morning, her glowing eyes kept Xavian awake.
'I guess she's a Vampire even for other Vampires'
The next morning, which a bat had come to wake them all up, Xavian had taken a bath, waited for the girls to dress up before he did since that shared a room, and left with Nein for breakfast.
In uniform, Nein looked like a super model, however, the eye-catching thing was his badge.
On it's surface, a big red Number Ten covered the space.
Xavian was shocked to the core
'Ten cores?! He must be strong!'
On reaching the large dining hall,
Xavian did not know what to expect for breakfast.
He imagined being served a bloody arm or something and was already thinking up excuses he would use to escape it.
However a tantalizing smell wafted into his nostrils as he and Nein took a table with the girls.
Elena, had a badge with the number Nine, and the other girl had one with the number Two.
He himself was also a Two Corer.
Noticing the power difference between their group, Xavian sighed
'This is gonna be a problem'.
From his time at the human version of Crimson High, he knew that the strong students always bullied the weak students and frequently caused trouble for them.
Thus, they grouped up together.
In their case, strong students and weak students were mixed, so it would break the heirachy.
Another problem was his own power.
Back home, he had been among the ordinary guys that no one cared to bother, but here, he was weak. That means that he would be definitely targeted...and soon.
But he still cracked a smirk.
'let them bring it on'
Ever since he became a Dhampir, he began to enjoy fighting and using his powers since he had a chance at winning.
Plus he would only get more skills and grow stronger the more he fought against other people and received missions from the System.
