Helena went upstairs holding a tray containing tea and some snacks for Leon humming slightly.
The past few days had been quite pleasant for her without anything crazy going around
But just as Helena opened the door, a wave of spiritual energy hit her, and shock etched on her face seeing Leon sitting on his knees unfolded with a painting brush in his hands.
His expression was serene and calm.
And this was what horrified her to the point that she ran away screaming for Hector.
"HECTOR!"
"Something happened to the young Lord. He is painting something."
Leon's lips twitched hearing this.
"Why are living creatures so weird? Every time you do something out of the norm, one would draw unwanted attention."
After meeting Seph, Leon saw through his weakness and the difference between the two.
It wasn't just strength alone but rather a whole difference of charisma. Leon knew better than anyone else about his temper.
He tends to get depressed and go crazy but that doesn't mean the Villains aren't, rather they are good at masking their intentions and keeping calm, something that Leon wasn't good at.
That's why he was practicing calligraphy, and painting to nurture his mind so he could develop the charisma he lacks.
Leon's hand paused and his ears perked up.
"Interesting!"
Leon smiled and gazed around from the corner of his eyes. Soon, a string of words floated over the wall.
Name:Ley
Age:14
Realm:Tier 3
'It seems Helena's screams startled the guy making him wonder if he had been finding out.'
Leon put down the brush and walked toward the wall, taking the teacup.
Taking a sip, he observed the tapestry while leaning against the wall.
"Nice tea."
Leon sinks in enjoying the flavor and closes his eyes. Leon's whole body was in a state of relaxation, without a single hint of caution.
He then raised the cup but instead of drinking, he threw the cup splashing the tea on someone.
"ARGH!"
"My eyes!"
The scene before Leon blurred and a dark-robed man stepped back rubbing his eyes with one while holding a knife.
A painful shriek echoed as the hot tea splashed directly on his face. And in the spur of the moment, concealment was deactivated.
Realizing his mistake, he used his power of shadows to hide and run away but the moment he turned around to leave, he felt a tight hold on his neck.
"Where are you going, brother?"
A crackling voice echoed. Ley groaned in pain feeling a grip as tight as a pair of iron tongs. With a slight turn, his eyes met with a pair of dark eyes capable of devouring him.
If Ley considers himself walking the path of darkness, then the man seems to be darkness itself.
"Boy, did you think this a brothel where you can come and go as you.."
Swish!
Leon leaned back as Ley swung a dagger from his right arm. Letting go of the neck, Leon held Ley's waist, yanked him towards him with great force, and then kicked his knees at the man's gut.
BANG!
The air stirred by a faint shockwave as Leon hit a guy with all his strength.
Ley's mouth opened wide, feeling his internal crushed, and just as he was about to vomit blood, Leon turned his weapon into metal and shoved it into his mouth, making Ley choke.
BANG!
Leon punched Ley's head from the backside and with a loud thud, creating a crack on the surface, his head crashing down on the ground and bouncing back, falling into his hands again.
A gurgling sound escaped from Ley's throat and his whole body quivered, eyes becoming unfocused as he swallowed down his whole blood while Leon pinched his nostrils withholding his breathing.
After a few moments, the guy passed out and fell to the ground.
"Now who sent this idiot here? Young Age and Tier 3. Inexperienced but sufficient to kill me if someone thought of me as Tier 2."
Observing the boy, Leon can only conclude that it was Seph.
The villain picks small talented kids and starts training them as assassins to do the bid. If he manages to get through it's good but if he falls then he can just move to another.
"This boy seems to have darkness and power of concealment. The task would be easy if it was previous Leon alas…"
Leon smacked his lips looking at the boy pitifully.
Then his eyes turned cold with madness.
"It's first but it's not going to last. I need to move."Leon spoke solemnly and picked out the dagger from Ley, he pierced his arms and drew a cut spurting blood on the floor.
At that time a notification rang.
[DING]
[Even without doing anything you created distance between your Mother and the Protagonist. Rewarded 2 Counter attack points.]
"At this point, I feel the counterattack point is useless as it's only being used to level."
"Whatever! You can keep the circus ongoing. It's not as if I care."Leon just shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly.
Leon then put the dead boy over his shoulders and jumped out of the window.
From Helena running back in shock to Leon dealing with the boy, all that passed was a meager 5 minutes.
Hector, after calming Helena, entered Leon room to see what kind of crazy things the guy was planning now as in the end, he would be the one to suffer.
But the moment he stepped into the room his legs became soft seeing a trail of blood. The trail of blood led to an opened window.
"Young Lord...What happened here? Where did the Young Lord go?"
Hector screamed in panic and his eyes fell on a bloodied dagger. A very bad premonition arose in his heart.
'An assassin.'
"Fuck! I am done for."
...
In the Maple's District.
THUD!
"What's this?"
Sophia asked, looking at the bloodied bag.
Leaving home, Leon directly came here.
As for how he reached here without getting arrested. He stood before a cab, threatened it with his power, and asked him to go to Maple Street.
That's enough for an intelligent guy to understand. If not, you can only enjoy your ride to heaven
"I brought you a gift," Leon answered casually, throwing out the unconscious Ley.
"A 14-year Tier 3 Assassin."
The boy's information piqued Sophia's interest. As long as you can become Tier 2 by the age of 15, you will be considered a genius.
Tier 1 was easy to step into but to become Tier 2 you need to feel spiritual Qi by connecting yourself to heaven and earth forming a connection both physically and mentally, which wasn't easy.
"Why did you bring him here?"Sophia asked, observing the boy.
"This boy would be a great source of entertainment if you throw him into a cage fight series, wouldn't it? If you refuse to take him, I will just kill him and throw him away."Leon answered with a crazy smile.
For some reason, Sophia felt the Leon of today looked quite a madman.
"By the way, I want a favor."
"Favor.....Huh?"
"Tell me, I will try my best to satisfy you."Sophia licked her plump cherry lips.
"Arrange a car and some heavy machine guns for me."
"Machine gun…?"Sophia tilted her head with a question mark all over her face.
