Chapter 2 - Founders Arrival

The aristocratic house of Count Louvred had long fallen from grace.

The reason well, the count invested in a few businesses got scammed, borrowed loans couldn't pay and drank till he died.

The countess mental health slowly deterioted from the long abusive marriage and passed on even before the death of the violent count.

Before marrying the count, the countess prepared to elope with the man she loved. The plan flopped then she was forced to marry the abusive aristocrat.

Unfortunately, it didn't end there. Within a year of marriage, the Louvred household welcomed an heiress who looked nothing like the couple.

Red hair, blue eyes.

Accused of infidelity, the countess channelled her rage to the young successor. It was unclear whether it helped her withering health or not.

In Amiri's memories, her mother was always punishing her for deeds unknown.

Though Amiri was young, she could sense that her parents hated her.

Their eyes always seemed to say,

'Stay away, you uncouth thing.'

After her coming of age, the tragedy struck. They lost all their lands and money. The event unfurled like something acted in the opera's titled,

'The fall of the great count family.'

That's what Amiri will pay to watch on a good day.

Those where the days and gone where those days. Amiri, now a nouveau rich enjoys a life of freedom with a noble title attached. Not that the title mattered much.

Knowing the predetermined end of the noble family, Blue Cascot, a transmigrator, possessing the body of Amiri founded a successful business that helped elevate her from poverty.

"Miss, the orders for spirit stones just arrived."

"Marvelous. I will be in warehouse in forty minutes."

"Alright Miss."

The transponder pod went silent signalling the end of the call.

Amiri smiled and marveled, "This is my creation."

The transponder pod for audio and visual communications was a wireless earpiece with holographic effects. Something new and strongly coveted in this world.

Amiri walked down the stairs of her new house, the design much modern like what she's used to in her previous life.

"Good evening my lady."

"Evening Abigail."

Amiri smiled content. She walked past the only hired help to maintain cleanliness in her home, as she does the rest herself.

"I'm going now my lady, see you Friday."

"Be safe."

"I will. Thank you my lady."

Abigail curtseyed then left.

Alone in the kitchen Amiri prepared a quick dinner and ate. She changed to outdoor wears and turned off the lights ready for work.

As the door pulled open, she encountered an unfamiliar person. From how tall he was Amiri had to crane her head further back to capture the face.

"You are one tough cookie to find."

"Do I know you?"

"I should probably step into the light so you see me properly."

The man took a step back and stood under the light in her front porch.

His ebony black hair and black eyes stood out like sour thumbs. A feature of a special god race.

"What is a Founder doing here?"
