Selene POV
The ride back home was quiet.
Vina asked me several times if I was angry that we wasted more than an hour at the mall and I had to reassure her that wasn't the problem. The memory of Xavier leaning across the table to kiss Belinda was stamped in my mind.
Each time I remembered it, my heart would swell with jealousy.
"So much for turning a new leaf," I murmured under my breath resting my head on the headrest of the car.
Somehow, I was thankful that I wouldn't put up with his discrepancies anymore. I would put everything behind me when we finally leave Greyhound Pack. As soon as we arrived at the Packhouse, I asked the girls to go back to our room while I went to look for Noah.
Since I saw Belinda and Xavier kissing at the mall, it made me want to protect the relationship I had with Noah the more. I checked his bedroom but he wasn't there. Neither was he in the living room.
