Xavier's POV
I had just stepped out of the shower trying to wipe off the worst of the water on my damp hair when I spotted Selene sprawled on my bed, eyes closed. I jumped in surprise causing her to open her eyes. She pushed herself into a sitting position when she was it was staring at me drowsily.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. The door was opened when I came and you were in the shower too, I didn't want to make it too obvious. Also," she paused "I know, I promised to do dinner with you and the girls but my meeting with Noah took longer than expected, don't worry, I'll make it up to you all,".
