As Paul and Talon stepped out from the gates of the Royal Palace, they were greeted by the somber embrace of autumn, the chill in the air signaling that winter was close at hand.
As the two of them were walking down the stairway towards the carriage back to the hunter's headquarters, the sudden chill assaulted Paul, making him lightly chuckle at the situation.
"What's so funny?" Inquired Talon from his side, the exhaustion was catching up with him.
"Nothing really, I just left my coat inside the throne room." Said Paul who was still chuckling.
As Paul continued walking, a soft chuckle escaping his lips, droplets of rain began to fall from the darkened sky above.
As the rain fell from the sky, Talon stopped in his tracks.
"Was that truly the best course of action there?"
"It was…" Said Paul with a slight pause, stopping just like Talon.
"At least I hope that it was."
