Jane Sullivan turned her head away, refusing to open her mouth. She knew that the pills were similar to the previous sedatives, which would make her lose control once ingested.
But she was no match for the old man.
The old man grabbed her chin, pried her mouth open, and fed her three pills, threatening fiercely, "If you don't take these, I'll play you to death tonight!"
After speaking, he brought a cup of water to her lips.
The pills were swallowed, and Jane Sullivan's hands were handcuffed to the bed head.
She remained silent, realizing there was no way out tonight.
Ethan, willing to sell her to others rather than proving her truth, showed that he only viewed her sexually.
Tears streamed down her cheeks.
"Don't cry, baby, I'll be good to you," the old man said lecherously, approaching her ankles with a rope, promising to make her night ecstatic.
Touching her fair skin, Jane bit her teeth, pinching her palm to stay alert, feeling the medicine's heat inside her.
Soon she might lose consciousness.
When the man tore off her dress, Jane Sullivan broke down, "I'll pay you double, just don't touch me..."
"Finally, you speak, but I don't like what I hear. You must be punished."
He picked up a whip and struck her legs.
Jane shivered in pain, unable to speak again.
...
Ethan, on the coast, boarded a yacht, ready to leave.
Haunted by Jane's hateful gaze and mocking lips, his heart grew more anxious.
As the yacht turned to leave, Ethan's face creased with worry.
Jane's innocent laughter and soft voice echoed in his mind.
As the yacht moved away, Ethan suddenly commanded, "Stop!" and jumped off, wading through the cold water.
Before Ethan reached the shore, another yacht arrived, and Justin disembarked without a glance at Ethan.
Justin, upon arriving, immediately asked about Jane's location using a photo on his phone.
"Justin, this is CEO's sold property, already bought by someone. You're breaking rules," a staff member warned.
"To hell with rules! My word is law here!" Justin declared, showing a lighter with the resort's symbol, scaring the staff.
"Justin, she's in room 303."
Justin rushed upstairs, but Ethan, coming out of the elevator, pushed him away, claiming, "She's my wife!" and kicked the door open.
Inside, he saw the old man about to whip Jane again and snatched the whip from his hands.
"How dare you touch my woman! Do you want to die?"
At the door, Justin heard Ethan and stopped.
Jane, nearly unconscious on the bed, looked at Ethan with a self-mocking smile, as if asking, "Are you satisfied now?"
Ethan, seeing her whip-marked, bleeding body, felt as if the wounds were on his own heart...
The old man, kneeling, begged for mercy, but Ethan was focused only on Jane, who seemed oblivious to his presence, her eyes dull.
"Jane..."
Ethan softly called her name, unlocked her handcuffs, and covered her with his coat.
"I'm sorry..."
But was his apology too late?
Jane pushed him away, looking at Justin, her voice hoarse, "Justin, take me away."
Hearing Jane's words, Ethan's eyes showed turmoil. He tried to lift her, saying, "Recognize your status! We're not divorced yet!"
"So what? When have you ever treated me like your wife!" Jane retorted, her eyes filled with hatred. "You're the one who should recognize your role, Ethan. When have you acted like my husband? If you ever did, you wouldn't have sold me!"
Ethan's hand froze in mid-air, seeing the slap mark on her face.
The old man crawled out, fearing the consequences of touching Ethan's wife.
Justin kicked him back inside, "Think you can leave today?"
He picked up the whip and struck the man, venting his anger.
Jane, struggling with the drug's effects, watched coldly.
She picked up a sheet, ignoring Ethan, and staggered to Justin, "Let's go. Killing him will only dirty your hands."
Justin hesitated but then carried her away.
Touched by Justin, Jane cried out in discomfort, her body involuntarily clinging to him, pleading, "Hurry, take me away."
She didn't want Ethan to see her drugged state.
Ethan, pained by her sobs, watched helplessly as Justin carried her away, punching a wall
in frustration, his knuckles bleeding.
Benjamin arrived, encountering Justin carrying Jane away. "Why are you still with her? Isn't this enough trouble? Justin, how could you be so reckless? You could've messed with anyone, but her!"
Unaware of Jane being drugged, Benjamin only knew about the scandalous photos and her sale at the auction. The Grayson family was in turmoil, unable to reach Ethan or Jane.
Benjamin, seeing Ethan emerge from the room, hurried over, "Let's go back, the old man is furious!"
But seeing the man on the ground, he was shocked, "What happened...?"
Ethan coldly ordered the man's hands to be destroyed. Realizing what happened, Benjamin vowed to handle it.
Ethan stood at the door, questioning if he could let go of Jane, even though she seemed to belong to Justin now.
He ran after them, blocking the elevator, insisting Jane would face more harm with Justin. "I can protect her," Justin asserted, but Ethan snatched her away.
As Ethan held Jane, she clung to him in her drugged state, begging for relief. Seeing her flushed and feverish, Ethan confronted Justin, accusing him of taking advantage of her condition.
Justin denied it, saying he hadn't touched her even when she was drugged before. Ethan, torn and angry, carried Jane to the elevator.
Justin, realizing Ethan didn't go to the ground floor, cursed his luck.
Ethan took Jane to a top-floor suite, a long-term guest at the resort. Once inside, he pinned her against the door, tearing off the bedsheet.
Lifting her chin, he demanded an explanation for the marks on her neck. "Give me... it hurts so much," Jane pleaded, pressing against him, lost in her need.
Ethan, furious and hurt, contemplated taking her then and there. "Jane Sullivan, you've crossed the line. I could devour you!" he growled, kissing her passionately.
Jane responded wildly, her hatred forgotten in the heat of the kiss, her body betraying her true feelings.
She provocatively challenged him, "Anyone can have me tonight!"
Ethan, torn between rage and desire, struggled with his emotions as Jane, in her delirium, both wanted and defied him.
