When Charlotte realised she was now being stared at by Shirley and Noah who were looking at her in surprise.
"Looks like we're about to arrive," Charlotte said through gritted teeth.
Shirley just rolled her eyes lazily when she saw that Charlotte wanted to get away. It was clear that they had just restarted their journey.
Then, Shirley looked back at Noah and ignored Charlotte who was also no longer glaring at them.
"Do you want to sleep?" Noah asked Shirley gently this time.
"Can I?" Shirley replied as she rubbed her eyes lightly.
"Come here, I'll wake you up when we get there," Noah replied as he pulled Shirley to rest her head on his shoulder.
Shirley happily slept on Noah's shoulder while hugging his hand.
Throughout the journey, Charlotte could only hold back her anger. She would remember all this and make sure Shirley paid for this humiliation.
