"Oh Xander you're back." Ariel smiled at Xander the moment he came in through the door, she sat on the couch with Anna and gestured towards him.
"Let's wait for you dad together." She muttered, as the boy sat down.
She felt uneasy, days has passed since the ball, and yet apart from the subtle attacks on the company, nothing has been done yet.
"Where's Jason?" Ariel asked Xander who was silent, at least he should know where his brother is.
Though she noticed that the two boys don't along well, she hoped eventually they will get over it.
"He fell asleep before I left the room." Xander replied awkwardly peeping at Anna who had dozed off.
It was getting late after all, with her condition it's best she sleeps early.
"Oh, Anna is asleep as well." Ariel looked down at Anna with gentle eyes, and brushed her hair lightly before gesturing at the butler to come carry her to her room.
"Guess it's two of us now."
