After Xander was worn out from crying, he fell asleep.
Ariel put him to bed then went to Vincent to clean his wounds while he briefed her on what happened at the lakeside.
She couldn't help but wonder what the fellow meant by blood debt? Was he also the one with Xander?
If so, does that mean that he wants to avenge Leo's downfall?
But that doesn't make sense, Leo wasn't dead, only in prison.
"Don't think too much, I'll figure out everything." Vincent stated in a soft voice, using his thumb to ease the crease formed between Ariel's brows.
"You don't get it V, this is my fault." Ariel said breaking down into a sob.
"Not only did I fail to protect two of my children after bringing them into this world, I trusted the wrong person leading to their continuous harm."
"I'm a horrible mother." She concluded, and Vincent immediately frowned pulling her to sit on his lap as he stared at her dead in the eyes.
