ARIEL'S POV
After making sure that Jason was asleep I turned to face Leo.
We had arrived from the kindergarten not too long ago and the whole evening has been very silent, no one talked, before, during or even after dinner.
Closing the door gently behind me, Leo and I went to the balcony each holding a glass filled with wine in our hands.
"So you told him?" Leo asked in a low voice, overlooking the city before us, "You should know me better than that Leo, he did it for whatever reason that was pinching him in the ass." I replied with a deep chuckle while swirling my glass around, my eyes tracing the wine as it followed about.
"But I'm indeed grateful for him stepping in, at least those people won't mess with Jason ever again." I stated remembering the bruise that was on Jason's knee, that goddamn guard, I thought squeezing my glass tight, causing a crack to form.
