The Dixon family managed to sleep that night peacefully as all issues had been resolved not knowing what the enemy had kept in store for them.
The kids were sent off to school as usual, Steve was sent to join them after his thorough interview and back ground check was done.
"Hey Jason." Xander greeted enthusiastically, while waving his hands at Jason whom had just entered the gate with his little sister by his side.
"Hi." Jason responded curtly, while Anna pouted sadly.
"Jason is not the only one here though." She tsked making Xander laugh and ruffle her hair fondly.
"Of course he isn't, how are you doing little one?" Xander asked in a teasing tone that made Anna stomp her foot.
"I'm not little don't call me that." She chided with her cheeks puffed up in disapproval.
This time around Xander laughed out wholeheartedly, she looked cute he couldn't help but laugh.
