Chapter 22 - Chapter 21 : Higher Orcs

In the orc village, Ryna stands with a bow in hand, surrounded by a group of eager elves and orcs who have expressed interest in honing their archery skills.

Ryna (encouraging):

"Today, we'll focus on precision and accuracy. Watch closely, and remember, it's all about finding your own rhythm".

Ryna effortlessly notches an arrow and releases it with finesse, hitting the target dead center. The aspiring archers observe her technique intently, eager to learn.

Ryna (continuing):

"Now, let's see what each of you can do. Grab your bows and arrows, and we'll start practicing".

Meanwhile, a short distance away, Green, a formidable orc warrior, stands amidst a group of students, each holding a training sword.

Green (assertive);

"Today's lesson is all about mastering the fundamentals of swordplay. Pay attention to your grip and stance. Precision comes from discipline".

Green demonstrates a series of precise sword maneuvers, showcasing her expertise in combat.

Green (continuing):

"Now, partners, pair up. Practice the drills we covered last time. Don't be afraid to make mistakes; that's how you'll improve".

The training grounds come alive with the sounds of arrows whistling through the air and the clashing of swords as Ryna and Green guide their respective groups through the intricacies of archery and swordsmanship.

.....

.....

Amidst the tranquil surroundings of the training grounds, Ryna and Green take a break from their rigorous sessions. They find a shaded area to sit and catch their breath.

Ryna (sighs):

"It's been two weeks since Takahiro left for Cyclo Kingdom. I'm starting to miss his presence around here".

Green (smiling):

"He's got his responsibilities, Ryna. But you know he'll come back soon. He always does".

Ryna (nodding):

"I know, Green. It's just that things feel a bit incomplete without him".

Green (reassuring):

"When he returns, it'll be with good news and plans for the future".

Ryna (sincere):

"You're right, Green. I should be patient. I just hope he's doing well".

Green (smiling):

"He's the strongest. I'm sure he's holding his own. Let's focus on the training for now, and before you know it, he'll be back with tales to tell".

As Ryna and Green share this moment of camaraderie, the training grounds echo with the sounds of continued practice, a testament to the strength and unity growing within their community.

.....

.....

The orc village bustles with activity as Furo, a respected orc elder, approaches Ryna and Green, who are still overseeing the training of their respective groups.

Furo (approaching):

"Ryna, Green, there's someone important here to see you. The higher orc leader has come to visit".

Ryna (surprised):

"The higher orc leader? Why would he be here?"

Furo (smiling):

"He originally wanted to meet Takahiro-sama but as Takahiro-sama is not here. So as you two are his fiancees , can you go there?"

Green (intrigued):

"And What does he want?"

Furo (respectful):

"He didn't specify, but he seemed eager to speak with you both. Follow me; he's waiting near the village center".

Ryna and Green exchange curious glances, their interest piqued by this unexpected visit. They nod to Furo and follow him toward the village center, wondering about the purpose of the higher orc leader's arrival.

....

.....

Ryna and Green, led by Furo, arrive at the village center to find a sturdy and imposing figure waiting for them. The higher orc leader, Hiorp, greets them with a nod.

Hiorp (gruff voice):

"Ryna, Green, I am Hiorp, leader of the higher orcs. Word has reached me about a certain Takahiro building a kingdom here".

Ryna (nodding):

"Yes, Hiorp. Takahiro is our ally, and he's working towards creating a place where different races can live together".

Hiorp (raising an eyebrow):

"Creating a kingdom, huh? I'm here to see if the potential matches the talk. I challenge you both to a match".

Green (smiling):

"A match? What kind?"

Hiorp (smirking):

"A match of sword battle. If you win , then we , the higher orcs , will follow you and join the kingdom".

Ryna and Green exchange determined glances, accepting Hiorp's challenge.

Ryna:

"We accept, Hiorp. Lead the way".

...

...

The training grounds transform into an arena as Hiorp, the higher orc leader, and Green step forward to face each other in a sword battle. Villagers gather to witness the spectacle.

Hiorp(laughing):

"So, a girl thinks she can challenge me in a sword battle? This should be entertaining".

Green (steadfast):

"Don't underestimate me based on appearances, Hiorp. I'm no ordinary girl".

Hiorp chuckles, seemingly unimpressed. The orc villagers watch with anticipation as Green and Hiorp take their positions.

Furo (whispering to Ryna):

"This should be interesting. Green has surprises for him".

The sword battle begins, and the clash of blades echoes through the training grounds. Green, displaying exceptional skill and agility, holds her ground against Hiorp's powerful attacks.

Hiorp (mocking):

"Is this the best you can do, girl? You're no match for me".

Green, undeterred, dodges Hiorp's attacks and counters with precision. The villagers watch in awe as she weaves through Hiorp's strikes, gradually gaining the upper hand.

Green (teasing):

"Maybe it's time you rethink your assumptions".

In a strategic move, Green disarms Hiorp, leaving him momentarily stunned. The orc villagers erupt in cheers, surprised and impressed by Green's victory.

Hiorp (grumbling):

"Luck. It was just luck".

Green (smiling):

"Luck or skill, a win is a win".

As Green stands victorious, the orc villagers applaud her accomplishment, and even Hiorp, begrudgingly, nods in acknowledgment of her formidable skills.

Green's victory in the sword battle paves the way for unexpected negotiations. Hiorp, accepting his defeat, extends a hand towards Green.

Hiorp (gruffly):

"You're a formidable warrior, Green. I've decided to join your cause".

Green (smiling):

"Welcome to the alliance, Hiorp".

Hiorp (squinting):

"But I won't follow blindly. I have a condition".

Green (curious):

"What's your condition?"

Hiorp(resolute):

"From now on, the higher orcs will support Lord Takahiro and his kingdom. In return, I want a role of noble for myself".

Ryna, who has been observing the exchange, steps forward.

Ryna (considering):

"A role of noble, you say? It's an unconventional request, but if it strengthens our alliance, I accept the deal".

Hiorp (nodding):

"Good. I'll ensure the higher orcs bring their strength to Lord Takahiro's cause".

As Hiorp's acceptance solidifies the bond between the higher orcs and the new kingdom, the orc villagers witness the beginning of a unique alliance that transcends traditional boundaries.
