Chapter 4: City of Downfall's Mysterious Person
"Thermes, don't ever stay away from me" Vesper said in a heavy tone.
As the two walked towards the counter countless eyes locked upon them as if they were going to eat them if they ever make even the slightest trouble.
Thermes nervously holds Vesper's arm.
Soon they reached the bartender, he looked up at Vesper sizing him up, Vesper undo his hood and revealed his face, then a smile appeared at the bartender's originally cold face.
"So it's the young master of the human race"
Vesper nodded, then he looked at the bartender and said "Is he here?"
The bartender pointed out at the back and said "Fourth room, you gotta be careful with that one"
Vesper signalled Thermes to follow him at the back, Thermes no longer cared and followed Vesper, he gave up, nothing can stop this Young Master of his.
As the two reached the fourth room, Vesper reminded Thermes to not speak until he is permitted to.
Thermes nodded as sweat rolls down on his face.
Vesper opened the door, and he immediately saw a black robed man with a black mask looking at him, as if he was expecting Vesper to come.
"Young Master of the human race" as soon as he said that a terrifying enerhy broke out shaking the whole room, the atmosphere instantly thickened and an unknown force came from above trying press to them down.
However, to his surprise the two didn't even budge a little. Seeing this, he retracted the energy that was bursting out and everything inside the room became normal again.
"I apologize for my rudeness, however it is my responsibility to take care of the Young Master of the Human race and his companion.", The Black Robed Man said
"No need, i'm strong enough to kill you" Vesper said with an indifferent face.
"Hahaha! As arrogant as one should be" The Black Robed Man simply laugh it off
"Take a sit and i will explain you with what i know about the City of Downfall"
"No need, say it all at once" Vesper said impatiently.
"Well if you say so, first let me introduce myself, I am Hegress II the last mayor of the High Heavens City that you guys called City of Downfall"
"Honestly, I don't know much of the thing you talked about, but there's indeed some clues and physical evidence that it existed, I can easily that you to my treasury and let you examine that "thing". But there's one problem" aftr a brief pause Hegress continued.
"The path leading to High Heavens City is extreme dangerous, even I myself travelled for 3 months just to meet you, if it weren't for the thing you promised me to help with, i wouldn't bother coming here at all, let alone think about leaving the city"
"Hegress right?, There's no need to worry about superficial things, we need to set out at once and reach City of Downfall as soon as possible" Vesper said to Hegress.
After a few seconds a glitchy blue robotic screen appeared in front of him.
