"Don't lose hope, Avery. Someone will surely show interest in joining our sect," reassured the boy, Dylan, who bore a striking resemblance to Avery but was slightly taller.
Dylan and Avery, both siblings, hailed from the Cox Family.
The Cox Family, once a prestigious lineage, fell into obscurity with the emergence of Rasha millions of years ago. Now, only Dylan Cox and Avery Cox remain, the last remnants of their once-great family.
Despite their diminished status, they still retain a sect assigned under their family name and have been provided with resources, albeit sparingly. Their family's downfall can be traced back to their defeat at the hands of Rasha, leading to their decline.
