Chapter 156 - 156

The Blood Rage talent was peculiar, allowing Chu Tian to absorb attacks landed on him and reflect 25% of the damage back to the enemy. This ability was particularly effective due to its synergy with the Dragon Bone Shield talent.

Sunfire, one of the strongest fire attribute offensive talents, could unleash a temperature similar to the sun's surface, nearly 20,000 degrees Celsius, at higher levels. However, its significant spiritual energy consumption meant it was rarely used unless absolutely necessary.

Spirit Source was a rare passive talent that allowed Chu Tian to absorb 10 to 15% of the enemy's spiritual energy with each kill. Only five individuals in the entire Federation were recorded to possess this talent.

Chu Tian was beginning to appreciate the extent of Wu Xiuer's talents and her relationship with the Skexen family. The camaraderie among the four women, who appeared as close as best friends, made Chu Tian wonder about the small world or whether he was being played.

"Alright, lead the way," Wu Xiuer instructed Chu Tian, seemingly ready for action. Chu Tian nodded and flew towards the Mountain Moving Giant Ape's location, followed closely by Wu Xiuer and the others.

About ten minutes later, they landed in front of the Mountain Moving Giant Ape, disguised as a pile of rocks.

Upon their arrival, Wu Xiuer, holding her long pipe, eyed the ape and said with a smile, "I hear you were looking for me."

The ape, blending in with the environment, stirred and stood up, acknowledging Wu Xiuer with a respectful bow. "I've long admired your name, Madam Wu Xiuer of the Ghost Market."

The ape greeted Klaysha and the others and proposed that they embark on a treasure hunt, mentioning that his friends would arrive shortly.

Wu Xiuer squinted, seemingly assessing the truthfulness of the ape's words. She then teased, "Are you afraid we'll rob you?"

"Madam, you jest," the ape quickly responded.

Chu Tian realized Wu Xiuer's significant influence among fierce beasts and her representation of the Ghost Market's power.

Wu Xiuer casually pointed her long pipe forward and uttered the word "Seal." A red rune appeared beneath the ape, and the surrounding area within a radius of two to three hundred meters turned dark red, freezing everything within it. The high-level formation had taken effect.

The ape tensely prepared for battle, accusing Wu Xiuer of trying to trap him. Wu Xiuer calmly explained that Chu Tian wished to test his martial skills and suggested using the ape as a sparring partner, warning them not to kill it.

The group ascended into the air as the ape, sensing a no-win situation, prepared to fight. Realizing the harsh reality of their world, the ape reached into its ear and pulled out a stick, which rapidly expanded into a thirty-meter-long staff resembling Sun Wukong's Ruyi Jingu Bang from ancient legends.

As the ape swung the staff, creating a gust of wind towards Chu Tian, he used his psychic perception to dodge the attack, which left a huge crater in the ground. Knowing the staff's power, Chu Tian decided to unleash his sword formation.

Electricity and thunder roared as the pre-set Thunder Swords flew in from all directions, trapping the giant ape within the formation. The ape, enraged, struck the formation's barrier, causing Chu Tian to cough up blood from the impact.

Undeterred, the ape swung its staff again, while Chu Tian, despite his regeneration ability, felt immense pain. He then unleashed the full power of his formation, preparing for a decisive strike.
