Chu Tian, after acquiring the Phoenix Stamp, continued to explore the Ghost Market. He was approached by a sly-looking middle-aged man who introduced himself as Black Rat, claiming to have inside knowledge of the market. Black Rat offered his services as a guide for a modest fee, which Chu Tian accepted, paying him for three days.
Black Rat led Chu Tian to a legitimate antique shop known as Black Shop, which boasted a far superior collection compared to the smaller stores outside. Inside, Chu Tian encountered an array of antiquities and a fascinating mix of staff, including a snake-woman and human martial artists. The shop's owner, Wu Xiuer, a tall and seductive woman, quickly recognized Chu Tian's disguise and exposed his real identity with her unique ability.
Wu Xiuer, interested in Chu Tian, asked about his purpose. Chu Tian mentioned his interest in ancient books, possibly searching for the latter half of the "Nine Heavens and Ten Earths Sole Exalted Art." Wu Xiuer showed Chu Tian to their extensive collection of ancient books, which spanned two floors. The second floor, much larger and filled with numerous antiques, also contained books from the remote past.
Wu Xiuer pointed Chu Tian to the rows where ancient books were kept, and Chu Tian began his search using his spiritual perception. He found that the first floor mostly contained ancient poetry and songs, while the second floor held some martial arts books, albeit for ordinary human learning. Intrigued by the possibility of finding more unique texts, Chu Tian contemplated exploring the third floor, hoping to uncover something of greater value or significance in his quest.
