Chapter 120 - 120

Chu Tian finished his cultivation and looked at the sky. It was already approaching evening. Liu Wei had just finished cooking, and when he saw Chu Tian wake up, he smiled and said, "Senior, I've prepared some food. Let's eat together."

"Hmm!" Chu Tian nodded and sat down at the table Liu Wei had set up. He glanced at the dishes on the table and thought about finding a new temporary base.

But just as Chu Tian picked up his chopsticks and picked up a piece of beef, Liu Wei suddenly said, "Although your aura has changed, your walking posture hasn't. You are Chu Tian, right? You didn't die."

Upon hearing this, Chu Tian paused for a moment with the beef in his hand and then nonchalantly put it in his mouth to chew.

"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone. Besides, your current appearance as Xuan Yuan Yuan is a problem. The Federation has issued a wanted order, accusing you of treason against humanity, which is a very serious crime," Liu Wei said as he took out his communicator and showed Chu Tian a message.

After glancing at the wanted information for Xuan Yuan Yuan, Chu Tian asked, "Did you really figure it out by my walking posture?"

"Well, that was one clue. You see, in a city like the Land of Death with so many buildings, why would Xuan Yuan Yuan choose this place? That alone made me suspicious," Liu Wei chuckled. "Then when you walked over, I observed your gait, which was identical to Chu Tian's. After a little probing, you showed a flaw, and that's how I confirmed that you are Chu Tian. It seems Xuan Yuan Yuan is dead, and it seems you were the one who killed him."

"Impressive," Chu Tian didn't say much and started eating.

After finishing the meal, Chu Tian said to Liu Wei, "I hope you can keep my identity as Xuan Yuan Yuan a secret. I might need to use it for a while."

"Whatever the case, you've helped me, and I hope you stay safe," Liu Wei nodded.

Chu Tian didn't say anything more. He stood up, pulled up his hood, walked to the broken glass window, and threw out his Snowscale Sword. Chu Tian then leaped onto the sword and flew away into the distance.

Riding a sword required reaching the third level of the Nameless Martial Art, but that didn't prevent Chu Tian from disguising his identity.

Seeing Chu Tian fly away, Liu Wei's eyes were filled with astonishment. He hadn't expected that the gap between him and Chu Tian had become insurmountable without him realizing it.

When he first saw Chu Tian, he was just an E-level talented martial artist.

Liu Wei looked at Chu Tian's disappearing figure in the sky and sighed. "He's no longer in the same world as me. I actually hoped to get closer to him and become his friend. It seems I was too naive."

Chu Tian didn't know the impact his actions had on Liu Wei. After flying a distance, he retrieved his Snowscale Sword and found a relatively intact building to enter. After setting up his defenses, he took out a Qi Crystal and began practicing the Nameless Martial Art.

A month later, Chu Tian's body was covered in sword scars as he sat cross-legged on the ground. The area around him was filled with Qi Crystals that had turned into ashes, some of them nearly five centimeters thick.

Clearly, in one month, he had absorbed a substantial amount of Qi Crystals. The sword scars on the wall were the result of his Qi being released and condensed into swords.

A silver light appeared within Chu Tian's body, and a long sword shadow materialized in front of him. This long sword split into two and kept dividing, forming forty-eight phantom long swords.

Chu Tian suddenly opened his eyes, and these sword Qi, like meteors, slashed through the air and struck the wall.

The already scarred wall couldn't withstand the pressure, collapsing with a loud crash. Although it didn't cut the building in half, it caused some floors to collapse.

After a month of continuous practice, Chu Tian had reached the early stage of the third level of the Nameless Martial Art, but he couldn't advance further. His Qi accumulation had reached a point where he couldn't break through to the mid-stage of the third level.

Furthermore, his Qi accumulation during this time had already elevated him to the peak of the B-rank.

The system had also provided an advancement prompt, either forcibly breaking through or killing an A-rank peak-level beast.

This time, the system didn't suggest hunting a B+ rank beast but an A-rank one, indicating its increasingly high evaluation of Chu Tian.

His current attack and damage capabilities were on par with A-rank peak-level beings. However, A-rank beasts were rare in the city of Death's Edge, and fighting them in the ocean required experience, which Chu Tian lacked.

So, Chu Tian decided to go to the harbor in Death's Edge to try his luck in finding an A-rank beast and see if he could kill it.

Seeing the dilapidated temporary base, Chu Tian decided to relocate again. The recent collapse had caused quite a commotion.

Chu Tian leaped out of the collapsed wall and flew into the distance. He stood in mid-air, looking down at the gas station below. Nota was currently directing his team, clearly embracing his role as the captain.

After a brief observation, Chu Tian ascended and flew towards the sea.

Death's Edge was once a massive trading port city and one of Huaxia's important import and export trade ports. However, the port had turned into a graveyard of sunken ships.

As Chu Tian looked at the sunken and decaying cargo containers in the sea, he activated his spiritual perception to search for the presence of beasts.

Despite being at the B-rank peak and having martial arts enhancements that could rival A-rank combat abilities, the system didn't provide an advancement prompt for reaching B+ rank. It seemed that advancing to that level wasn't just a matter of accumulating Qi; it required a significant battle opportunity.

As Chu Tian wandered through the harbor, he couldn't find any beasts, which was surprising considering the harbor's size and the presence of B+ and even A-rank beasts in the area.

However, suddenly, a cargo container not far away was hurled towards Chu Tian. He quickly dodged, and the container smashed into the ground, creating a crater.

Chu Tian looked towards the direction from which the container had been thrown, and a massive tentacle with barbs emerged from a pile of cargo containers.
