Chapter 100 - 100

[Wishing Everyone a Happy New Year!]

Seeing Biscuit approach, the werewolves who were originally surrounding Chu Tian made way for him.

"Even from a kilometer away, I can smell your scent. What are you doing here again?" Biscuit seemed surprised, wondering why this human had returned.

"I recently participated in a competition and wanted to visit an old friend after it ended," Chu Tian replied with a smile. "But my friend lives here, so I had to take the risk and come to the Death's Edge to visit it."

Upon hearing Chu Tian's explanation, the massive Alaskan, Biscuit, raised an eyebrow and said, "Since you've already visited, you better leave quickly. It's not very safe around here lately."

Hearing Biscuit's words, Chu Tian quickly asked, "What's been happening here?"

However, Biscuit had no intention of answering and turned to leave. Just at that moment, Chu Tian suddenly sensed something underground. The werewolves, in response, looked around on high alert and tightly gripped their weapons.

Chu Tian extended his psychic perception and immediately noticed a goblin bursting out of the ground, its circular mouth full of sharp teeth aimed at a werewolf holding a bow and arrow.

Seeing this, Chu Tian released a burst of freezing energy from his palms, creating a rapidly forming ice wall in front of the attacking goblin. The goblin bit into the icy barrier unpreparedly, causing it to crack.

The grateful werewolf who had been saved gave Chu Tian a thankful look. While ordinary werewolves couldn't speak, they still understood emotions.

With the appearance of the first goblin, all the werewolves entered battle mode. Even Biscuit, the Alaskan, wielded a massive iron hammer, smashing one goblin that had just emerged from the ground into a pulp.

Before Chu Tian could inquire about the situation, the ground beneath their feet suddenly trembled. Before Chu Tian could regain his balance, the ground cracked open, and a pitch-black goblin, covered in sticky slime, emerged.

Chu Tian's system quickly provided a notification, indicating that this was a Goblin Chieftain. In the past, when Chu Tian was a C-rank, he might have been afraid of B-rank monsters due to uncertainty about his strength. But now, he was unafraid.

Based on his recent performance in the mercenary base competition, he was confident that he could rank among the top 50 to 100 B-rank talents.

Seeing the Goblin Chieftain, Chu Tian decided to use it to boost his points. As all the goblins started emerging from the ground, the werewolves began to fight them.

Chu Tian noticed Biscuit, the giant Alaskan, handling the goblins around him. Just then, Chu Tian felt something beneath him.

The werewolves looked around as if facing a formidable enemy, gripping their weapons tightly. Chu Tian extended his psychic perception and discovered another Goblin Chieftain emerging from the ground. The situation was growing more complicated.

Despite the danger, Chu Tian remained calm. His system warned him that the Goblin Chieftain had a considerable amount of goblins under its command. However, Chu Tian was now a B-rank talent and had confidence in his abilities.

The Goblin Chieftain was furious and tried to attack the werewolves. Chu Tian saw the danger and quickly intervened. He summoned the Death's Scythe into his hands and swung it towards the Goblin Chieftain.

The Goblin Chieftain, aware of the threat, tried to close its enormous mouth but failed in time. Chu Tian's fist struck the Goblin Chieftain's open mouth, piercing through its upper jaw.

The Goblin Chieftain let out a painful howl as it collapsed to the ground. As it died, all the other goblins, which had been fighting the werewolves, quickly retreated underground.

Chu Tian absorbed the Goblin Chieftain's essence and received a notification that he had advanced to a B-rank talent. He felt a surge of spiritual energy gathering within him.

After defeating the Goblin Chieftain, Biscuit's massive dog head looked at Chu Tian with a less resistant expression, as Chu Tian had just helped them.

"Biscuit, why did a Goblin Chieftain suddenly appear here?" Chu Tian asked, curious.

Biscuit accepted Chu Tian's goodwill and waved his hand, signaling the werewolves to clean up the battlefield. Then, he found a place to sit down casually with Chu Tian.

"At first, we accidentally discovered that there were many goblins in the park we control. So we sent werewolves to patrol the area," Biscuit explained. "When you first appeared, we lost one of our clan members, clearly due to goblins."

Chu Tian understood that the werewolf he had killed earlier in the park had been wrongly accused of attacking the goblins. Biscuit continued, revealing that the goblins had taken an interest in the park's environment, which included large grasslands and artificial lakes.

This environment was highly suitable for the goblins. After getting all the information, Chu Tian began
