Chapter 86 - 86

Chu Tian didn't fully understand the "Doom's Roar" talent.

However, this didn't stop him from copying it for study.

Without a second thought, Chu Tian copied the "Doom's Roar" talent.

Upon examining its effects, he discovered it was a passive talent, effective only on its owner and also only on humans.

In other words, it was a unique talent of the Alaskan Malamute.

If he were the owner of the Alaskan Malamute, he would certainly be plagued with misfortune.

After studying, Chu Tian exchanged the talent away.

Only when the system indicated that "Doom's Roar" was exchanged for a hundred talent points did Chu Tian realize that this passive skill was more valuable than any other talent he had exchanged before.

Chu Tian knew that he couldn't copy the same target twice, a discovery he had made long ago.

However, if there were two identical beasts, he could copy one and exchange the other, a benefit seemingly granted by the system.

Looking again at this new breed of wolfmen and their leader, the Alaskan Malamute, Chu Tian felt that this new species would likely not last long.

After all, the leader was the notorious Alaskan Malamute.

Chu Tian turned to leave, knowing his current strength was no match for a group of wolfmen.

Just as he was about to leave, an arrow suddenly shot towards him.

Chu Tian's psychic senses caught the arrow, and he quickly dodged this deadly strike aimed at his head.

At this moment, all the wolfmen looked up in his direction, and several holding rib longbows aimed at him.

"Woof woof woof!" At this point, the Alaskan Malamute barked a few times, looking in Chu Tian's direction.

"A human, it's been a long time since we've eaten a human," said the gray wolf in a hoarse voice, sounding like two iron plates clashing.

"I like his clothes," one of the wolf leaders also spoke up.

Chu Tian was utterly surprised that these wolfmen could actually speak human language.

However, the communicator he had opened had not been turned off, so everything the wolfmen said was recorded.

As the wolf leader gestured for his subordinates to attack him, the Alaskan Malamute suddenly slammed its hammer on the ground.

The loud sound made all the wolfmen stop.

The Alaskan Malamute looked up at Chu Tian, barked once, and then spoke human words.

Chu Tian also revealed himself at this moment.

"Human, you're just a C-level talented warrior, why dare you come here?" the Alaskan Malamute asked. "Don't you know it's dangerous for a single person to appear at Death's Edge?"

"Sorry, I was just passing by. Do you believe me?" Chu Tian smiled slightly, seeing that although these wolfmen were dangerous, the Alaskan Malamute didn't seem to want to attack him.

The Alaskan Malamute seemed unimpressed, waved its paw, and said, "If you were a corpse, I'd be happy to let my people strip your clothes and take everything from your spatial device. Now leave my territory."

Chu Tian was puzzled, this Alaskan Malamute didn't seem very dangerous.

"If you don't leave, I won't mind letting my people turn you into a corpse," the Alaskan Malamute added, and the wolfmen around him readied themselves again.

"Then, great wolf leader, may I ask if you have ever killed humans?" Chu Tian prepared to leave, but he wanted to confirm whether this harmless-looking Alaskan Malamute would kill.

The Alaskan Malamute dryly replied, "Our people regularly search for human corpses, as for killing..."

It paused for a moment, then continued, "We don't kill, but if you want to be the first human killed by our wolf clan, I'd be happy to let them turn you into a beehive."

After this, the wolfmen below howled and readied their weapons for attack again.

An Alaskan Malamute becoming the leader of wolves was indeed impressive, and it was clear the wolfmen listened to it.

Chu Tian laughed and said, "Then, great wolf leader, I'll leave now, but may I know your name before I go?"

"Biscuit, my name is Biscuit," the Alaskan Malamute said, waving its large paw, "But don't expect to become my friend. Humans who become my friends usually don't end well."

Chu Tian didn't linger. It seemed these wolfmen hadn't hunted living humans and their equipment was likely scavenged from corpses.

So, Chu Tian decided to return with a group next time to visit Biscuit. After all, the "Doom's Roar" talent affected only the owner, not friends.

Unless Biscuit subconsciously made a human its owner
