Feeling scared and uncomfortable, Amanda immediately left the supermarket to go home. She was afraid that the woman wasn't alone and was really out to get her three children.
She might be able to fight off any number of them, but the safety of her three children was a concern for Amanda.
"Mama, Lucas scared," Lucas said, holding the hands of his two younger sisters.
"Don't be afraid, baby. When we get home, we'll be safe, okay?"
"Yes, Mama."
Amanda looked at the rearview mirror and noticed a green car. She occasionally glanced at the rearview mirror every time she passed a turn, hoping it was just a coincidence that the car was following her.
However, the coincidence turned into something that she was sure that the car was following them.
'Is it her? She followed us home?'
Seeing that things were worse than she thought, Amanda turned the car away from the house.
