Deep in Hermione's sleep, where she lay peacefully on the soft mattress, and her head plopped on the pillow. She had one arm placed over her belly and was sleeping on one side of her body.
The furious wind blew in through the opened windows, rendering the curtains tousled. She stirred in her sleep, her eyes closed, appearing to be enjoying the serene atmosphere.
A tall shadow loomed over her, having emerged into the room through the open windows. Walking in silent step, they strode towards her bedside gently enough not to alert her. Their red narrowed eyes fell on her fragile frame.
The person was immobile, looming over the small creature on the bed and having no idea what way to quench his thirst. He stood for almost an hour just peering down at her. He didn't feel his eyes prickle with tears, and his legs didn't threaten to sway as well.
