"Do you know a monster with hair made of fire?" I said as I pointed at my own hair.
One of the lions nodded.
The ice spears immdeately pierced its head.
I laughed.
"It's strange; did I say that you could move?"
The other lion widened its eyes out of fear and shock.
I looked at the last lion.
"Where are the two other monsters like him?"
The scout said that there were three SS-rank monsters. Since I had killed one of them, there were still two left.
"Wyverns..ghouls". The lion said it with some struggle.
I see.
The Wyverns were on the east side, so the ghouls must be on the north.
I could already guess that the three SS-rank monsters had split up to take over the kingdom from multiple directions.
What a pain!
Couldn't they have fought in one direction at the same time? Instead of spreading their forces, which forced me to go find them.
First, I need to go back to the wall and tell the others that I am leaving.
As I was walking towards the wall,
"Can…Move?" The lion asked.
"Right, I completely forgot.".
"Dracanis, go ahead.".
And as I walked back, the dracanis rushed from out of nowhere towards the lion.
I could hear the roars of the lion screaming in pain, which, after a few seconds, stopped.
When I went back to the wall, I saw something shocking.
The blonde knight's body, which had been destroyed and filled with injuries, had been completely healed.
He was lying down, and if I didn't know any better, I would have thought he was sleeping.
There was a woman with three flaming circles on her white shirt in front of him with her back turned against me.
I approached them,
"Did you heal him?" I asked.
"He is still dead. I just healed all his injuries so he could at least die as a human.".
As I looked at the blonde knight,
A small smile was visible on his face, and his eyes were closed.
"Thank you".
"Don't worry about it; they were the ones who begged me." She said this as she pointed at the knights.
They were all busy with different tasks; some were doing pushups, others were cleaning their swords, which were already clean, and some gave food to their horses.
But they all had the same two expressions: sadness and anger.
I knew what they were trying to do. They were trying to make themselves busy instead of grieving.
These knights had nothing else to do because of me.
I killed all the monsters that had approached in this direction.
I walked over to the major, who was busy talking with some soldiers.
"I am going to leave and help the north and west.".
He turned around and saluted,
"Understood, sir".
The dracanis appeared next to me.
"These will be here to help; feel free to order them around.".
With the dracanis here, I could feel comfortable leaving these people alone.
As I was about to leave, I heard a loud bang, as if a firework had exploded.
And as I turned around, I saw a red firework above the north side of the kingdom.
"Red means that they are in a severe situation!" The major said it with a worried tone.
What happened over there?
Like a bolt of lightning, I rushed over to the north side of the kindom.
As I saw the wall, I quickly ran past the huge gate.
Dead corpses were everywhere. They were mutilated as if sharp blades had cut them to pieces.
And in the middle of the corpses was one slim figure.
A woman with barely any clothes, which only covered her private parts,.
She had sharp fangs, small eyes, two horns extruding out of her forehead, and blue-purple skin.
"Oh, another human, you guys keep coming through that big gate." She laughed.
"But when will you realize that the result will always be the same?" She said in a condescending tone.
My face darkened.
'SS rank monster'.
"Haha, are you angry that your companions died?" She laughed and said, "Don't worry, they died a painful death." She laughed with a crazed glint in her eyes.
This monster was exactly the same. Killing without even batting an eye.
"Well, if you are not going to attack, then I will come at you." She dashed from her spot and rushed towards me.
'Honestly, these monsters were truly making me angry'.
She stopped her dash and immediately rushed back to her previous spot.
"Huh, why did I retreat?" She asked herself in a puzzled tone.
"And why am I shaking so much?"
She was shaking as if she were in the middle of a snowstorm.
I appeared in an instant, right in front of her.
I grabbed her by the throat.
"Just like the flame monster, you talk a lot.". I tightened my grip.
"Why do you monsters talk so much?" I asked.
Her eyes shook, and she tried to struggle, trying to free my hand holding her throat.
But just like an unmovable object, my hand was completely still, and my grip was only getting tighter every second.
"Why are you acting so confident when you are so weak?".
Her pupils were starting to go upwards, and I could see that she was about to faint.
I tightened my grip more and more.
Crack!
I heard a sound as if a bone had broken, and as I released my grip, her body fell lifelessly to the ground.
As she was lying lifelessly on the ground, the mana that I felt coming out of her stopped.
"F*ck, I gave her an easy death.".
I should have spent more time killing her.
I turned around to look for any survivors, and I could feel a faint sense of mana nearby.
As I approached, I saw a middle-aged man on the ground.
There were blade injuries where his eyes would have been.
'Did she cut his eyes?'.
But most shocking was his body. His legs and arm were cut off, and only his upper body was left.
He heard me approach.
"Who is there?" He asked weakly, as if he had no more strength left.
"Rylan Ashencroft". I said.
"Rylan–" He suddenly coughed blood out.
I quickly tried to angle his body so he could speak more freely.
