Chapter 132 - CHAPTER 127 UNTITLED

"If those things get past us, we will not only lose our base in this realm but altogether lose our world! The place that we call our home! The place that our ancestors were born, the place that we can truly call our own in this vast universe!"

He clenched his fist tightly, affected by the memories of his world getting destroyed by the black hole, helpless at such a sight, not being able to even do any single thing to preserve at least one thing.

The warriors look at each other; many are impassioned, but there are also those that are confused, preferably the people that have money to board a ship and escape their world. They know that Cleo also has this option; in fact, his position is much safer than theirs, as other than being a member of the prestigious Oriend Family, he is also a true member of the Mystique Academy. He has multiple options if things go south, but right now, everyone realises that he has no intention of retreating.

"Go! Those that are too afraid to fight, return back to our home world, and warn everyone about the impending invasion! I will stay here with the brave warriors that are going to be my comrades in this lifetime!" He transforms into his Malevolent Tiger Form, releasing his killing intent. He chooses this form as he knows the amount of death and killing intent will definitely cause this form to evolve.

He knows that he is risking his sanity by doing this. The Malevolent Tiger is different from his other forms; it was created by the variation of the tiger part of the dragon-tiger body tempering technique. It is a unique existence that seems to be both reliant but at the same time independent from the system's control.

Seeing him run towards the frontline, the warriors that either have nothing to lose or have everything to lose went with him. The higher-ups of the stronghold know that they cannot retreat because they have the duty to defend the portal.

This does not come with the sense of responsibility or authority that they wield, but because of the punishment that will be given to them if they lose this portal.

"Hahaha! I love that young man's spunk!" Says one of the Barbarians. He also went with Cleo, the female elf who was grieving the death of the swordsman. The teacher looks in the direction of the incoming tide of genetic lifeforms; her eyes are flashing with hatred and killing intent.

The golden monk and the teacher who was carrying the corpse of his friend also follow after Cleo; both of them are radiating intense killing intent.

The ground is trembling, the trees are shaking, everyone realises that the tide of genetic lifeforms is getting closer, Cleo raises his head and growls, and he senses multiple incoming attacks.

He roars and starts firing (slaughter ghost claws) at the descending attacks. The warriors are startled by his action as they do not sense the incoming attacks yet.

The teachers raise their heads; they, of course, sense the incoming attacks. The elf teacher summons a bow, and as she pulls the string, an arrow automatically appears in between the bow; it is glowing with intense light.

"Moonlight Rain." With her loud shout, she shot her arrow, which turned into a thousand identical arrows.

"Swimming Furious Flood Dragons!" The human teacher summons his own soul blessing; it was a supernatural-grade sabre. He then swings it, summoning multiple sabre slashes at the incoming attacks.

"Beasts! Take this! Fury of the Mountain God!" The barbarian teacher roars as he summons his two large axes and smashes them into the ground, causing the entire area around him to be destroyed. He then picks up the giant pieces of earth that were broken by him and throws them to the sky. The large pieces of earth carry his own energy.

"Palm of Enlightenment!" The golden monk teacher transforms into his ape form and creates a palm figure made entirely of pure energy and fires them into the sky. With each thrust of his palm, he creates the same attack.

"Whoa! These are the teachers of the legendary academy?!" asks one of the warriors, flabbergasted by the power of each teacher.

"What is more shocking is that Lord Miracle Child is actually throwing out attacks that are comparable to them!" pointed out one of the warriors.

"He is more than capable of surviving on a different planet; why is he risking his life in such a hopeless battle?" asks one of the warriors watching the scene with red eyes.

"Because he is the Miracle Child! No matter how hopeless the situation is, he never gives up, and by pushing himself beyond his limit, he creates a miracle," says one of the warriors who is a member of the Oriend Family.

"Hahaha! To die besides such a person, I cannot help but feel that my last moment on this earth is worth it!" Laughs a warrior that seems to be one foot on his grave. Most warriors present fight now are actually old people that want to go out with a bang.

"They are coming! Prepare yourself!" Shouts the elf teacher as she sees the figure of the charging liforms. She holds her bow tightly as she takes aim.

"Teacher, I think that it is better for you if you aim your attacks at those flying lifeforms; leave the remaining lifeforms to us." Cleo uses his unrefined psychic energy to tell the elf teacher about their plan.

"The young lad is correct, Mia. I think it is better for you to cover for us; we are more suited in a close quarter fight; you might be the only one present right now that can cover for us." States the human teacher. With such unrefined psychic sense, the teachers are able to intercept it even if it is not targeted towards them.

"Hahaha! I can feel my blood boiling!" Roars the barbarian teacher.

"I shall use your blood to water the grave of my dear friend!" shouts the human teacher.

"Living will only cause all of you to suffer; I shall end it soon." The monk clasped his hand and stated calmly.

The warriors watch as four individuals stand straight and proud in front of the upcoming berserk tide of genetic lifeforms.

'Cover your ears; tell the rest behind you to cover theirs! ' Cleo screams in their ears using psychic sense; the expression of the golden monk changes; he shouts at the top of his lungs.

"Cover your ears!" He then starts chanting in order to protect the warriors behind them. The teachers might not know what is happening, but they still follow the advice of their two comrades.

(Torment Roar)

Screams, Wails, Screech, and Howls.

Unimaginable sounds of ghosts howling and demons laughing were heard; an uncomfortable sensation sprouted in the hearts and minds of everyone; fortunately, the chant of the golden monk dispelled this effect.

"What the hell was that?!" asks the barbarian teacher. He has a powerful mental defence; it is a defensive type of soul blessing that belongs to a unique category that only focuses on one aspect. Barbarians are known for their hunger for battle; contrary to many rumours regarding them, they are not fools, just straightforward people, but their weaknesses in terms of mental and soul defence are quite true.

The reason for this is that their bodies take most of the energy they absorb and turn it into strength, leaving only a small quarter of the energy for the brain and the soul to develop.

Cleo's (Torment Roar) is very effective for them because it is a sort of mental type attack that invokes the evil desire within the target's heart. As a barbarian, the teacher has an innate desire to breed and destroy, especially the latter, and the roar greatly affects his heart.

'My skill has a powerful effect but has a massive drawback; it does not distinguish friends from foes; this is the reason why I do not want to fight in my current form.' He sighs after stating this.

The Malevolent Tiger Form is perfect in a solo battle or in a battle that just has him and his pets; it is truly the form of an evil fiend.

(Berserk)

Knowing that he has to kill as many as he can in order for the Malevolent Tiger spirit to evolve, he immediately went all out at the start of the battle. His aura abruptly rose, startling everyone, but not for long as he pounced on the nearest genetic lifeforms.

The competitive hearts of both the barbarian and human teacher are set ablaze after watching him go on a killing spree; they do not want to be outdone by a student.

The barbarian teacher starts spinning, transforming himself into a flaming golden tornado that tears apart everything around him, causing countless casualties on their enemy's side.

The human teacher snorts as he waves his sabre, creating a large arc that kills the maddened genetic lifeforms around him.

With the effect of the Torment Roar still active, the genetic lifeforms are not defending themselves from any attack thrown at them; they are only thinking of killing those around them.
