Chapter 110 - CHAPTER 106 RECOVERY

"I am not going to hunt one with my current strength, but with the concept that I have learned, my strength is reaching the same level as those supernatural lifeforms," he stated.

"What he said is true." Suddenly, someone joined in their conversation.

"Uncle Bob!" Flare was startled; just like Cleo, Bob was sent to the recovery chamber after his fight against the intelligent Azure Berserk Monkey.

*Sigh* "He fought against the being that sent me to the recovery chamber; even though he lost, he still puts up a great fight, and the Azure Berserk Monkey that he had battled against was no ordinary genetic lifeform; it actually knows martial art."

The three immediately stood up from their chairs; all of them wore an expression of disbelief. This information was like a bombshell in their heads.

"That is impossible!" Margaret shouted, still in a state of disbelief.

Meanwhile, Cleo frowns and actually believes his uncle, as he had sensed the incredible power of the lifeforms that he had fought against. There is also a rumour that those from the second realm protected their ives, and  according to the books that he had read, the lifeforms in that realm are as smart as a normal adult human.

Bob smiled bitterly, seeing that his two nieces were still looking at him with suspicion.

"Well, at least one of you believes me."

The two girls look at each other, then, at Cleo, he is in deep thought. Flare taps his shoulder, snapping out of his thoughts.

Seeing that the two were looking at him with a puzzled expression, he seemingly wanted to know something.

"What?" Seeing this, he quickly asked them.

"It seems that they do not believe, but seeing that you accepted my words, they wanted to know why." He smiles, but is still bitter. He sits at the table and orders one of the maids to bring him some food.

"Oh! That! You had heard me talking about concepts earlier; if humans can learn them, do you really think that those superior genetic lifeforms cannot?" This shocked the two girls.

He sighs at their expressions.

"This is only based on my knowledge and understanding, but human lifeforms are capable of developing intelligence much faster and earlier than most races; this is also true in the Realm of the Thousand Worlds. Also, I think that lifeforms that focus on spiritual attacks and attributes are capable of unlocking intelligence after living and evolving for so long."

The two girls' expressions become grave; they know that his words make sense, but this does not change what they are currently feeling.

*Sigh* "I do not know if any of you notice, but the Realm of the Thousand Worlds is not targeting just any worlds but those that have life, especially sentient life. I theorised that it was doing this because it was also evolving like the beings that exist inside it, creating more realms. I might not know the reason why, but this is no good news for us." Everyone agrees to this.

"Fortunately, the academy is situated near our world, making it easier for them to send reinforcement here compared to other worlds." Margaret sighs, but she is also a little bit relieved. The status and reputation of the academy are resounding to any world that is under the jurisdiction of the alliance.

"How many worlds are currently being invaded?" Cleo quickly asks, wanting to know something.

"I do not know the accurate data, but according to what I had heard, it should be at least a hundred or so," Margaret answered.

He takes a deep breath and asks again.

"In these one hundred or so worlds, are there any similarities regarding their world to ours, like the amount of time the portal existed in their world and ours?"

Margaret was deep in thought; she shook her head, surprising him greatly.

"I do not know."

He nearly fell from his chair. He thought that she meant that there were no similarities and that she actually meant that she had no idea.

"Big sister Flare, I want to know about this information. I know that you have many friends compared to my big sister; can I ask you to acquire some information for me?" hurriedly asks his cousin.

"What do you mean by that?" Immediately, his sister pinches his cheeks and pulls them harshly, causing him to beg for mercy.

"Hmph! To think that my own little brother does not believe in me!" She pouted.

Flare giggles at this.

"Who can blame him? You are not exactly the approachable type."

As the two girls started arguing, Bob, on the other hand, was thinking about something.

"Nephew, I want to ask, why do you want to know such information?" He starts getting interested in the theories that his nephew has.

Cleo shakes his head.

"I will share them with everyone after obtaining more data; for now, you and I should focus on recovering to our peak condition."

Bob nods his head, agreeing with him that, with the current situation in the first realm, the alliance needs as much help as they can get, especially from a supernatural gene warrior.

Suddenly, he remembers something and smiles.

"Nephew, I had heard that the Azure Berserk Monkey was slain by someone; only you were present during my fall; it seems that you were the one that had killed it; as per the unwritten rule, I shall give you the flesh of the Azure Berserk Monkey."

Cleo, who was happily eating, freezes after hearing such shocking words. He looks at his uncle with a dazed expression.

He swallowed the food in his mouth and quickly replied.

"Uncle, I think that it is better if we split the flesh; after all, I had only delivered the killing blow; you were the one that had injured the Azure Berserk Monkey."

His uncle frowns and sighs.

"I think that people will start spreading rumours about me if I accept your proposal; after all, there were multiple people from the clean-up group that had seen you fighting the Azure Berserk Monkey long before I arrived."
