When they arrived at the campground, Cleo was immediately greeted by a grand scene: multiple genetic warriors wearing or holding their soul blessings were talking with each other. The pressure he was feeling from them was immense.
"Oh, look who has arrived!" Suddenly, an obnoxious voice appears. It was a guy wearing gaudy-looking armour. Cleo raises his eyebrow. His body seems to be familiar with this person, which only means that this is a person that he knows.
"Young master, he is your third cousin." Just as Elcio finishes his sentence, the gaudy guy actually attacks him.
[Tiger Pounce]
Roar! A tiger's roar can be heard. Cleo stops the gaudy guy's attack, but he is forced to take a couple of steps back, startling him. He cannot believe that he was overpowered in terms of brute strength.
What he does not know is that the gaudy guy was more surprised than him; even though that attack was just a casual blow, not just anyone can block it.
His expression becomes a bit more serious, and just as he is about to attack once again, a cold harrumph interrupts the fight.
It was a girl with a fiery figure; her clothes were barely keeping her chest hidden. Cleo once again sensed the familiarity with her, and he instantly turned to Elcio.
Shocked by the earlier attack, Elcio stands there with a pale face, but he does not take a step backward. Sensing his gaze, he quickly snaps back.
"She is your first cousin; unlike many of your relatives, she is close with you as she considers your sister her closest friend," he hurriedly explains.
Upon hearing him, the girl with the fiery figure frowns; she cannot help but ask.
"Have you already forgotten about your big sister? We might not have seen each other for some time, but this should not be a reason for you to just forget your lovely big sister."
Even though she is chiding him, her tone carries a hint of teasing; she reminds him of Lilith; the only difference is that the latter carries a seductive vibe while the girl with the fiery figure only carries a playful vibe.
"I apologise, third young miss; young master has encountered a unique accident that caused him to lose most of his memories." Elcio steps up and tells his current predicament.
She turns to him with eyes filled with pity, and in a shocking manner, she hugs him as she puts his head into her bountiful and soft melons. Her sudden action causes Cleo to freeze, but sensing her worry, he decided to let her hold him like this.
The gaudy guy watches this with hate-filled eyes; he seems to want to tear him off from the girl with a fiery figure and replace him.
"Young master, let me introduce you." Before Elcio can finish his sentence, the girl with a fiery figure raises her hand and shakes her head.
She stops hugging Cleo and smiles as she introduces herself to him.
"Don't you dare forget about me again! Remember my name! Engrave it. I'm your heart! I am your lovely and sexy big sister, Flare!"
Listening to her introduction, he laughs out loud. It seems that she is also quite proud of her beauty, just like Lilith.
"I will definitely not forget your name with such a great introduction." Smiling, he tries to shake her hand in order to show his goodwill, but Flare hugs him once again, submerging his head into her melons.
"Wow! You have gotten much taller and more muscular; it seems that my little brother has been working out; is there any special girl you want to impress?" Her tone definitely carries a teasing vibe.
Elcio wants to brag about his young master's achievement but is afraid that he will be overstepping his boundary, so he can only lower his head while fidgeting.
"Third young miss, the Advanced Grade Army Ants are now approaching the base at tremendous speed; there are multiple variants amongst them; there are also Advanced Grade Flying Army Ants in the sky; and they are being led by three Supernatural Grade Army Ant Generals.
Her teasing face turns serious in an instant; she is no longer the playful girl that she exhibited before; she exudes the aura of an experienced leader, similar to Margaret.
Meanwhile, Cleo's focus is on the information about the Army Ants attacking; he knows that he can fight against advanced-grade beings as long as their strength is only at the average level.
Ants are powerful creatures, but they are not that threatening individually. With the soldiers and the people in front of him, he is confident that he can obtain advanced genes if he joins the battle. Also, Leon and Glutton will definitely surpass their current selves if they join the battle.
"Big sis Flare." Awkwardly calling her, he steels himself to shamelessly ask her to join the battle. He knows that she will worry about him throughout the entire battle, but if he shows her how strong he truly is, he can definitely put her at ease.
"Let me guess, you wish to participate in the battle?" Even without him asking, she instantly knows what he wants to ask.
He nods his head with a determined expression; he just cannot pass up such an opportunity to grow stronger.
"Okay, but you need to fight alongside my elite guards." She puts up a strong front, and no matter how much Cleo bugs her to let him hunt all by himself, she ignores him.
He can only sigh in disappointment; it seems that he can only fight in a controlled environment, unlike what he wanted.
"Hmph! Why bother participating!? You are only going to be a burden anyway!" The gaudy guy sneers, but he still follows Flare.
"Who was that guy anyway? Why does he hate me?" He is getting frustrated with the personality of that person; if not for the fact that he recognises his strength, he would have challenged him by now.
