Leon sits in a location where no one is present. He sighs and says,.
"This world operates in a different but similar manner to my former world."
He realises that with constant exposure to the danger from the Realm of the Thousand Worlds, the people of this world idolise strength to the point that it becomes the only status that they care about.
People like the librarian who have the potential and strength to be considered top rankers are taken highly by their peers; they think that whatever decisions they make are right because they are strong.
He recognises this manner of thinking after observing the people around him. That is why he no longer cares about what others think and does things based only on his mood. If he tries to please everyone he meets, he will be looked down on by the arrogant people who think the world revolves around them.
He sighs once again and cannot help but complain.
"Other than Brother Pure, almost all of the top rankers and Aces that I have encountered are self-centred or too prideful. I do not blame them for this type of attitude, as the people of this world were the ones that accepted that this is just the norm, but it seems that I am caught up in their own problems."
After reading a couple of books regarding the dangers that the forbidden grounds possess, he adjusted his mentality; it seems that he had truly been underestimating the danger that the forbidden grounds possess.
'So the forbidden grounds are actually special areas that connect to some broken portals; according to the history books, these locations are gathered from different worlds that had or are currently suffering from the invasion of the beings from the Realm of the Thousand Worlds.'
He is shaken by this fact, and he finds it hard to believe that the academy is daring enough to transfer the anchor points of the portal to this location.
The academy's primary function is to nurture different talents belonging to different worlds, but its other equally important function is to actually protect the worlds that are under its jurisdiction.
The teacher's main job is not to teach the students but to cull all powerful genetic creatures that have entered through these broken portals. They must do this regularly in order to prevent them from amassing a force big and strong enough to destroy the academy.
"Lost Jungle, it is a perfect place for me!" He becomes excited as he learns the fact that the genetic creatures left behind some of their fellow members on all the forbidden grounds, but they are located near the anchor point.
Lost Jungle is different; the creatures there are extremely difficult to deal with, as most of them are ambush, poisonous, and special-type creatures.
They still contain genetic enhancement, but unfortunately, because of the length of their stay on this world, many of them only drop a meagre amount of genetic enhancement, like one or two; the highest number of genetic enhancements recorded by the academy is actually just three.
The worst of this is the fact that they do not leave behind any form of blessing; it is not worth it for others to risk their lives for such meagre rewards.
But this is perfect for him; he can use this to increase the power of his pets, especially Cleo's Clone; he can even give the meat to his other pet, Hungry Koi Fish.
"Ahh, sadly, our target is the Nightmare Valley; according to what was written in the books, it is crawling with ghosts, ghouls, and many manners of undead creatures."
The ghosts are able to increase the power of Cleo's clone, albeit barely; the zombies and most undead are unable to increase its power as they seem to have no complete soul to destroy.
The living library once again moves, and he is shown to the exit. There, he sees his friend walking back and forth.
"Thanks, buddy." He starts tapping the shelf. He knows that the library is protecting him from the librarian, and he cannot deny that she is a lot stronger than him.
Looking at his friend's excited expression, he shakes his head and warns him.
"Do not be so happy that quickly, from what I have gathered, we are facing dangers that are capable of killing both of us even if we work together."
Aranold's excited expression becomes ugly; he knows his friend, and when he says something like this, he quickly realises that he has grossly underestimated the danger the Nightmare Valley possesses.
"We are lacking in some areas; we need to ask brother Pure for help; we need help from one of the monks; hopefully he has completed his breakthrough."
The two of them went to visit Pure's abode, and because of Leon's presence, they were not stopped by the guards; in fact, the monks guarding the abode bow to him; they are grateful for what he did.
Seeing the only person with hair, Leon heaves a sigh of relief. He knows that this is one of the most unique monks in this place.
The red haired female monk is known by many.
She is a half monk and half Wildman; born from a monk father and Wildman mother, she has the aptitude to train the Golden Monks' racial techniques but also has some of the traits that belong to the Wildman Race.
He had researched her other half; in all of their sparring, he had not obtained a single victory. She might be just a top ranker for now, but it is predicted that she will become an ace after this term ends.
Wildman, a race descended from ancient titans, unlike their close relative, the dwarves, their height is still considered tall; they are born with innate physical strength just like their close relative; unlike the dwarves, they are not given the gift of creation but the Titans innate ability to control lightning and harness fire elements into their bodies.
