Chapter 32 - CHAPTER 30 HUNGER

Inside the bathroom, Leon is scrubbing himself furiously, not for the reason of being clean but because of the hunger that he is currently feeling. His stomach is growling like crazy, and not only that, his appearance right now is extremely pitiful.

It is as if his blood and fat were drained out of his body, leaving only a very skinny man who looks like he has not eaten in his entire life.

After having a bath, he quickly comes out, still naked, wearing his clothes hurriedly. He grabs Aranold and screams, "Where can I get food!?"

His friend was shocked, but after seeing his appearance, his expression changed. Without hesitation, he grabbed him and ran out of the room.

They went into a large establishment with multiple beings of different races interacting. Aranold put the extremely pale and pitiful-looking Leon on a seat beside a table before running away.

He comes back with dishes filled with only meat, causing Leon to be shocked, not for the size of the dishes but because all of them emit an aura similar to that of genetic creatures, albeit weaker and feeling incomplete.

But these thoughts quickly disappear, and only one thought remains: to devour everything in front of him. He opens his mouth and starts eating like there is no tomorrow.

One dish after another, the plates were carefully taken by Aranold and put on the table. As he ate the food, his aura actually grew stronger, his eyes changed, and they turned into dragon and tiger eyes. They were emitting an aura of savagery and dignity.

After the dishes were cleaned, Leon still feels hungry, but not as much as before. Shaking his head, he exhales a mouthful of turbid air.

He can finally stand on his two feet. He quickly apologised to his friend, "Sorry, Aranold, we just returned to our room, and I immediately forced us to come out."

Aranold shakes his head. "Hahaha! Do not worry about such things; you have done more things for me, so are you still hungry?"

Leon nods his head; he knows that his growling stomach has practically given him up. The two walk into a giant screen, startling Leon. He then sees that the beings around them are actually ordering using some sort of card.

"Hey, buddy, I left my card back in the room; can we go back?" Realising that his card that Elcio and Emily have told him to keep with him at all times was left behind, he cannot help but feel embarrassed.

"About that? Do not worry, I got you; take it as a thank-you and welcome meal for your return." Aranold just pats his chest and reassures him.

'I think that I should order as much food as I want tomorrow; I do not want to be rude." He smiles and gives his friend a thumbs up.

While the two of them were carrying their mountain of dishes back to their earlier table, an individual stopped and looked at Leon.

"To think that you would order this much just for me, I truly am extremely lucky to have a friend like you," Leon states gratefully as he sees the mountain of dishes in front of them.

"Hahaha! I mostly use my points in the Red Moon establishment; now that you have helped me solve my problem, I no longer need to return there; besides, if not for you forcing me, I would have ordered more expensive dishes," he says in regret.

The two start joking with each other as they eat; the atmosphere is harmonious; the two do not realise that they are eating at an incredible pace; and the numerous dishes placed in front of them are disappearing left and right.

Even though the bones were crushed and swallowed, the two do not realise this. Leon's body is miraculously recovering while Aranold's body is heating up; if not for the yin stone hanged around his neck, he would have been itching to return to the Red Moon.

"Excuse me, I cannot help but notice, are you a tiger folk?" Suddenly, their chat was interrupted by someone. It was a female covered in fur that looked like tiger stripes; she also has cat ears and a tail.

"No, I am a human, and this person besides me is a, wait, what is your race again?" Leon shakes his head and answers in a polite manner; unfortunately for him, he had forgotten to ask Aranold to reintroduce himself to him once again, now that they have a fresh start of friendship.

"I am a Blitzgher; well, you might not know much of it other than what you have heard from that girl-man, but our race is a reptile race that has connections with the ancient dragons; their race is governed by females and capable of controlling males through a certain ability," he states calmly.

"They have the ability to control. Is it some sort of absolute control or just suppression?" This quickly piques Leon's interest.

"So you are a human and not a tiger folk; are you sure that you are not a halfbreed or hybrid?" asks the girl.

Leon quickly remembers that he was still talking with the tiger girl and smiles in an apologetic manner. He shakes his head and frowns, "Not that I know of."

"You have lost your memory, so you do not know, but you are a pure human; our teacher has attested to this," Aranold says confidently.

The tiger girl frowns. She gets closer to Leon and actually sniffs him, shaking his head. Her expression is filled with doubt. "You do not smell like a beast folk, but why do I sense a similar aura to that of our race from you?"

Leon is still in a state of shock after a girl sniffs his neck without any warning at all. He stares at his friend, who was not surprised at all.

Calming himself, he coughs a bit and says, "I do not know what to say to you. I know myself that I am human, and someone far more powerful has attested to this. I do not know how to truly answer your question."
