Chapter 50 - The dress

"Why are you blaming yourself? It wasn't your fault." Adam firmly responded, pressing her head into his embrace. If he knew she would have such a reaction to him, he would have done something about Daniel way before.

Azalea melted at his words, and suddenly the dam holding her back finally broke free. The pain and feeling she never let out suddenly opened. She was vulnerable but with him, she was fine being vulnerable.

Suddenly the words from the past became null in her memory. She was a child born from a mistake. A reminder of the past affair of her father. No matter how those loves are shown in the end, she was always an outsider in Wood's family. An unwanted part they can't cut off or accept. 

Azalea knew she couldn't depend on them, her choices would always be on her. Her fault would be on her and her life would be upon her. No one to lean on, no one to blame and no one to fall for. She was all alone. 

"If you care a bit about us, stop existing."
