"Ma'am." The shop assistant just a few meters away couldn't help but call them.
Azalea's face flushed into a brighter color of red thinking about what stunt she pulled in front of strangers. She instantly removed her hands from him, stepping away.
Adam chuckled seeing her embarrassed face. Her boldness only works in front of him. In front of strangers, she was like a meek kitten out of words.
"Did you get everything you needed?" Adam questioned, looking around. He was only gone for a few minutes.
Azalea glanced at the lavender dress one last time before nodding to his question. Adam was quick to notice her yearning eyes on it.
"Why not that dress?" Adam inquired.
Azalea's face slumped at the mention, "It's sold. Let's go." She sighed, wrapping her arms around him and dragging him out before her heart broke further.
