Pure horror gripped Keagan's heart after hearing someone else use her voice to speak with Baron. There was no way it came from her mouth. Then again, the man heard it. She might have to deal with the consequences of having someone pose as her during the phone call.
["Which hospital? Oh, my God… is he going to make it? What happened?"] Baron grew more demanding, and his earlier tone hardened into one of budding anger. ["Keagan, this day will not end without you telling me what happened to my brother."]
"…" Keagan wanted to answer, but she didn't know if there was indeed a hospital. What made things worse was that the voice answered for her again: "I'll send you the address. Don't worry, I'll meet you there later. I just… I just got back home. I need to shower and make myself presentable."
