Just earlier, Elijah's thoughts turned into reality. The cab driver drove off in a direction toward the Pineberry Estate. However, since it was on the edge of the city, the forest around it was a good place to hide. The cab driver took Elijah to a secret nook where the man's friends were waiting. He saw how much money Elijah had, and the passenger even looked like he didn't have a home.
As Elijah chewed the succulent flesh, he could remember how he was cornered by three men. They were after his money, but Elijah felt extremely hungry from everything that happened. Not to mention that it was almost noontime. He couldn't indulge himself with lots of meat products, so he just ate those men.
Even that very phrase didn't sound so good to Elijah until today.
"Greetings, mister. What might you be here for today?" Elijah wondered if he heard a shriek or just a man with such a high-pitched voice.
