On a regular Tuesday afternoon in the little town of Crestwood, everything seemed normal. The sun was shining warmly, making the houses look bright and cheerful.
I'm Jake Thompson, a 15-year-old high school student. Nothing special about me โ just a regular kid in Crestwood.
My school, Crestwood High, is like any other school. We have classrooms, teachers, and lots of friends. It's where I spend most of my days, just like many kids my age. The school bell rings, and we all rush out when the day ends, looking forward to a bit of freedom. It's that exciting moment when the last bell rings, and you know the school day is finally over. We grab our backpacks and head out, chatting with friends and making plans for the rest of the day.
Some days, we might decide to hang out at the park, playing our favorite games and enjoying the fresh air. Other times, it's a quick stop at the corner store for snacks โ you know, chips, soda, the good stuff. And then there are those afternoons when we just want to go home, kick back, and relax.
Crestwood might be a small town, but it's our town, filled with familiar faces and places we've known forever. The local diner, where we grab burgers and fries after school. The park, where we've had countless laughs and made so many memories. And of course, the hidden gems โ like that cool alley with its quirky surprises.
But little did I know, that particular Tuesday was about to change everything. At that moment, though, all I cared about was the usual stuff โ homework, friends, and maybe grabbing a snack from the corner store. Nothing fancy, just the typical life of a high schooler in Crestwood.
So, let's start our story on this regular day, with me, Jake Thompson, unaware of the adventures that were about to unfold in the town of Crestwood.
