"Wen Nuan! Wen Nuan!" Yi Chunhua, clutching her forehead in obvious distress, shouted, her voice echoing off the high ceilings. The pain in her head was relentless, pounding with a severity that made it hard to think straight. She squeezed her eyes shut, hoping to alleviate the pressure, but it was no use.
Wen Nuan's eyes widened in concern as she took in the sight of Yi Chunhua in such visible agony. "Madam, are you alright?" she asked, rushing to her side.
"No, I'm not alright!" Yi Chunhua snapped, though her frustration was more with her pain than with the servant. "I have a terrible headache. It's unbearable. Bring me a tub of hot water with sea salt in it. I think a soak might help."
Wen Nuan nodded quickly; her concern evident. "Right away, Madam," she replied.
"Wait! Junshan's room has a chemist shop. Bring some painkillers from him," Yi Chunhua instructed again.
