After a while, the police officer who had been handling Xin Yue's case received a call from his superior. As he listened to the instructions on the other end of the line, his expression shifted.
"But sir, I have been ordered by Young Master Lei to arrest this girl," The officer told his superior.
"I have the orders from Old Madam Lei to release the girl," The senior officer said sternly, "Anyway, you have done a very wrong thing by arresting that girl without any written complaint."

"You're free to go. You've been released on the orders of Old Madam Lei," the police officer informed Xin Yue, the gravity of the situation lifting from her shoulders.
