A chef of a Michelin-star hotel stood in front of Huang Ling after presenting his cake in front of her. He waited for the review as Huang Ling tasted the cake.
"Yikes! How can you even call this thing a cake?" Huang Ling criticized, "This is ridiculous! What kind of chef are you!"
At the side of the living room, Grandma Lei was seated with Lei Juncheng as both of them observed Huang Ling's irritation.
"What exactly is going on?" Grandma Lei had come just a while ago and could not figure out what exactly Huang Ling was doing and why was she getting so annoyed at everyone.
Lei Juncheng smiled in amusement, "Grandma, she is tasting cakes for her engagement. She has tried a lot but did not like anything."
"Ohhh," Grandma Lei thought for a second before she picked up her phone, "All these high-end places serve dull dishes. I will order the cake from the bakery I prefer."
She dialed a number, "Hello, Sweet Delight Bakery, I want to order a red velvet cheesecake at Lei mansion."
With that, she smiled at Lei Juncheng and waited for her cake to arrive.

Mu house.
As Mu Haoran's friends gathered in the Mu house, excitement filled the air. Laughter and chatter echoed through the rooms as the children shared in the anticipation of the birthday celebration. After nearly everyone had arrived, Mu Haoran, eager for the highlight of the party, approached Xin Yue with a hopeful look.
"When will the cake arrive, sis?" Mu Haoran inquired, his eyes shining with anticipation.
Just as he asked this, the doorbell rang.
Xin Yue smiled, "It's here."
She opened the door and received the cake delivery. However, when the siblings opened the box of the cake, they saw a red velvet cheesecake lying in the box instead of the chocolate cake baked by Xin Yue.
"This is not my cake!" Xin Yue exclaimed.
She immediately contacted the Sweet Delight Bakery to clarify the confusion behind the cake.
[Hello, Sweet Delight Bakery?]
[Yes?]
[Sir, you have sent me a red velvet cheesecake instead of my chocolate cake.]
[I am so sorry ma'am. It seems like my employee has exchanged your order with someone else. Don't worry, we won't charge you for this.]
[It's not about money, sir. Anyway, it's fine.]
As Xin Yue hung up the call, Mu Haoran consoled her, "Don't worry sister, we'll cut this cake instead. It is not a big deal."
"It seems that we have no other option," Xin Yue sighed.

On the other side, Grandma Lei was also shocked to receive a cake different from what she had ordered. When she contacted the bakery, she received the same reply as Xin Yue. So, just as Xin Yue did, Grandma Lei decided to make do with the cake she had received.
She felt that since the cake was from the same bakery, it was prepared by the same chef and thus it must also taste good. However, what she did not know that this was the chocolate cake which Xin Yue had prepared and had only sent it to the bakery for baking it.
She opened the box and looked at the chocolate cake before tasting it. Her eyes lit up when she realized that the taste was even better than she had expected it to be.
She cut a piece of the cake and placed it on a serving dish before taking it to Huang Ling.
"Xiao Ling, I see that you are very worried because of the cake."
Huang Ling nodded with a sad face.
Grandma Lei smiled, "So, I had the chef of the top hotel of the B city prepare this cake for you."
She then moved the serving dish in her hands forward for Huang Ling to taste it, "Have a bite and tell me if it suits your taste."
Huang Ling's face blossomed with a smile, "How sweet of you grandma!"
She then tasted the cake and her eyes lit up instantly, "Wow! This is amazing!"
She then hugged Grandma Lei from the side and exclaimed happily, "Grandma, I love you!"
"You know I was thinking from a long time and I was having positive vibes that something good is about to happen and now I finally got the perfect cake."
Huang Ling then picked a bite of the cake in a spoon and walked towards Lei Junshan who was on a phone call. As soon as his phone call ended, Huang Ling told Lei Junshan excitedly, "Brother Junshan, universe has sent a perfect cake for our engagement. Try it, I am sure that you too will love it."
Lei Junshan shook his head, "I am sorry, Xiao Ling, but I don't like the flavor of chocolate cake."
"Please Brother Junshan, for my sake. You just have to taste it," Huang Ling pleaded.
Lei Juncheng also echoed, "Brother Junshan, just have a taste."
"Okay," Lei Junshan finally tasted the cake.
Grandma Lei and Lei Juncheng looked intently at Lei Junshan waiting for his review.
"Hmm, this cake is really nice," Lei Junshan affirmed.
"Great, it's done then. I want this cake for our engagement," Huang Ling said with conviction.
"Where did you get this cake from?" Lei Junshan asked.
"Grandma has ordered this cake from the top hotel of B city."
"Oh, this is why I immediately understood from its taste that it was made by a really good chef!"
Huang Ling nodded.
Grandma Lei laughed at her eldest grandson and her to be granddaughter-in-law. She said, "What is special with the top hotels in the B city? Anyway, the taste does not lie with the name of the hotel. It lies in the skills of the chef, be it a Michelin-chef or an ordinary chef.
"This cake has not been ordered from a top restaurant, instead it was ordered from a small bakery."
Grandma Lei revealed the truth causing Lei Junshan to feel like he was slapped on the face.
