On the other side of the house, Huang Ling was dealing with a terrible hangover. Despite freshening up, her head continued to ache, and she felt exhausted. Seeing her distress, Kai Ming had prepared a special hangover drink and approached her with a glass.
"Here, Huang Ling," Kai Ming said gently, handing her the glass. "Drink this in one go. It should help with your headache."
Huang Ling looked up gratefully. "Thank you, Aunt Kai," she said, taking the glass. She took a deep breath and drank it all in one go, wincing slightly at the taste but trusting in its effectiveness.
Just then, Lei Junmo walked in, "Mom, I also want one."
Kai Ming smiled and handed him another glass. "Drink it all at once, Junmo. It will help."
Lei Junmo nodded, taking the glass. "Thanks," he said, before downing the drink in one swift motion.
"Bottoms up, mom!" he exclaimed in front of Kai Ming.
Kai Ming glared at her son which made him apologize. "Sorry mom!"
