Determined to redeem herself after the failed mask prank, Kai Ming decided to try a new tactic to scare her husband, Lei Gang. Late that night, when Lei Gang was fast asleep, she silently placed a realistic-looking fake spider near his face. Satisfied with her setup, she lay back down beside him and pretended to be asleep.
To wake him up, Kai Ming reached over and gave his hair a gentle tug. Lei Gang stirred and groggily opened his eyes. The sight of the fake spider so close to his face jolted him awake completely. He let out a terrified yell, eyes wide with panic.
"Spider! There's a spider!" Lei Gang shouted, his voice echoing through the room. He frantically started calling for security, convinced that a dangerous creature was on his bed. "Help! Someone get this spider off me!"
Kai Ming pretended to be roused by the commotion, blinking sleepily. "What's wrong?" she asked, feigning innocence.
