"What is this?" Grace asked as she picked the stick up from the floor. Nari tensed immediately. She had thrown the stick when Grace stepped in, who knew she would find it.
Grace picked the stick from the floor and turned to the remaining maids in the room. "What is this doing here?" Grace turned to Nari who was still in shock. How would she explain this now, Grace would never believe her.
Kate quickly grabbed the stick from Grace and held it in her hands. "I placed it in here for the servants just incase father gets violent again." Kate said holding the stick in her hands. Both she and Nari had both run out of excuses but she would never let Grace do anything to Nari.
She didn't even know why Nari thought carrying a stick for her father was the best idea. Now they have to go with the idea of him being mad, when his practically sane.
