Kate sat frozen at a spot as she stared into space for a while. She shook her head as if she hadn't just heard correctly. No, there's no way her father has woken up, he cannot wake up. He cannot expose her. "What did you say?" She asked the doctor and Nari who had been crying untill this moment, turned to look at her.
"I said your father just woke up this afternoon. Though he's yet to say anything to us, maybe he'll speak when he sees you." The doctor responded enthusiastically, unaware of her change in attitude.
"Is everything alright?" Nari turned to her mother, at the same time, Kate's assistant walked up to her and sat next to her. He had an urgent news to tell her. Something she would want to put into consideration.
"Did you tell anyone else about it?" She asked. No one has to know he even woke up so that she could exact her plans of killing him. There's no way she would let the general expose him. She would rather kill him and kill herself in the end.
