With his legal documentation in hand, Orion now had the right conditions to begin his search for Eric. But he knew it wouldn't be easy. By this time, Eric was already a vampire, which meant he couldn't just look for him in the usual places, let alone ask around for him.
Vampires had their own underground networks and rarely interacted openly with the magical community. In fact, they would be immediately hunted down if they did come near the wizarding crowd. Orion knew that Eric would be near the wizarding community, after all, if he wanted to continue his research to turn back to humans or even pass on his inherited magic from Merlin to the next Guardian, he had to stay near. Where else will he get the required materials to continue his work otherwise? With his fellow Vampires! Yeah right…
Walking through the bustling streets of New York's magical district, Orion thought carefully about his next step. He needed to find someone with strong connections—someone who knew their way around the American magical community and could help him navigate it. He wasn't interested in public figures; they would be too cautious, and rumours spread quickly in high circles. What he needed was someone with deep ties but who operated in the shadows.
Orion wandered through the hidden alleys of the magical marketplace, where people dealt in rare potions, strange artefacts, and secrets. It was a place where many came to trade information, and it was here that Orion hoped to find someone useful.
As he passed a shop selling enchanted mirrors, a name came to mind: Nora Mandragora, an information broker with a reputation for knowing everything and everyone. Orion had heard whispers about Mandragora before—the name alone tells that it's a woman. He ponders whether he should try contacting this woman. He needed information so maybe he could give it a shot, it's just that the information about this Intelligence Broker was more shady than he liked. Some say that she doesn't even exist while some believe that she does. It's honestly very strange.
Deciding it was worth a shot, Orion headed toward a quiet tavern on the edge of the marketplace, technically the best place to gather information in any place. The tavern, dimly lit and filled with a haze of smoke, was the perfect place for people who didn't want to be found. This was the first time Orion felt that there existed a place which looked more shady than Leaky Cauldron, he told countless times to Tom to let him renew the place at least but that man just won't budge. Orion stepped inside and scanned the room, his eyes landing on a man sitting in the corner, dressed in a long coat with a hat pulled low over his eyes.
"Well let's see what I can get here, hope it's not just another dead trail." Orion mutters to himself with a little frustration, the last time he did this kind of investigation work, he had one of the most irritating experiences in his life.

Orion had spent hours scouring the magical community for any information about Nora Mandragora, but his efforts had led him nowhere. Frustration settled in as the day dragged on, and with nothing to show for his search, he decided to call it a day. He figured it was time to return to the orphanage and check on things there.
As he made his way back through the busy streets, something caught his attention—a man, walking briskly from the direction of the orphanage. There was something off about him, something Orion couldn't quite put his finger on. His magic—Orion could sense it—was oddly familiar, though he had never seen the man before in his life, 'maybe an ancestor of someone I knew in the future, but I don't remember any of the people I know having this powerful ancestor ?' Orion thought to himself as he could feel the powerful magic in that person. He was hiding his own presence while the man was there so he was hidden well.
Orion stopped in his tracks, his curiosity piqued. Why was this stranger coming from the orphanage? And why did his magic feel like something he should recognise? For a moment, Orion considered confronting him but quickly thought better of it, the man looked like someone important, maybe someone who holds a high position. He didn't want to expose his presence if it was not necessary.
Instead, he decided to follow the man discreetly, staying a few paces behind His Law of Presence to make sure that he was well hidden from the Person. Even as John Wick he wanted to hide his presence if possible. As they weaved through the city, Orion couldn't shake the feeling that there was something much deeper going on, the man finally went inside a building Orion was very very familiar with, it was the Ministry of Magic building.
'I felt that he was an important character, but to directly enter the Ministry like that, just who that person is ?' Orion wondered and then again entered into his mind palace to find any relevant information about the 'Fantastic Beasts and its plot line.'
However, due to having little to no intact memory about this movie, he couldn't find anything.
'Hmm… maybe I might try asking people in the Orphanage before looking into the background of this man.' Orion thought.
At any other time, he wouldn't do anything this troublesome but right now he was staying in that Orphanage and now suddenly a man from the ministry was visiting the place alarming him.
More than that, he was no ordinary Wizard for sure. He was strong… his magic alone felt like the likes of Dumbledore or Grindelwald…
Actually much like Grindelwald…
