Chapter 47 - Chapter 47 : First Book, A Chaotic Core

Orion got ready, finally, the time had come for him to seek out a publisher who could bring his book to the masses. Armed with a stack of parchment containing his carefully crafted manuscript, Orion set out for the bustling streets of Diagon Alley.

His destination was Flourish & Blotts, the renowned bookstore where he had once secured a part-time job. The familiar bells above the entrance chimed as he entered, and the scent of parchment and ink enveloped him. Orion approached the counter, where a familiar face greeted him—Marcus, the owner of Flourish & Blotts.

"Good day, Orion! What brings you back to the world of books?" Marcus inquired, his eyes twinkling with curiosity. Orion was still working there but today it was his vacation.

Orion beamed with excitement. "Mr. Marcus, I've written a book, a compilation of magical knowledge, spells, and my own experiences. I'm looking for a publisher to help me share it with the wizarding community."

Marcus arched an eyebrow, intrigued. "A book, you say? let me see."

Marcus was looking confused, since the day he met Orion the boy had been nothing less than Extraordinary, being able to create potions for his physical and mental fatigue, his uncanny memory, smarts with charms not to mention the Broom business he started.

Through his channels, both Marcus and especially Emeric have sent samples of those new brooms Pegasus to many important key figures, Marcus has no doubt that by the end of this year, less than 6 months to be exact, Orion would be famous throughout the wizarding world. So he really didn't understand how in the name of Merlin this child got time to write a book on top of all things.

Orion handed over his manuscript, and Marcus perused the pages with keen interest. As he read, a smile tugged at the corners of his lips. "Impressive work, Orion. Your passion for magic truly shines through these words. I think we can help you bring this to a wider audience." Marcus didn't actually find it much special compared to Orion's potions and Broom but said nonetheless to encourage Orion.

Orion on the other hand knew what Marcus was thinking, being a man who runs a Library, Marcus certainly had a much better palate to draw a comparison for Orion's book.

The writing was nothing special, in fact, Orion can argue that Hermione could write better than him but that didn't matter, what mattered was the information in the book. As long as a witch or wizard follows the information he mentions in this book, they will see results. The book is about the Origins of magic and its true nature. And ways to train in magic or to be exact enhance their magic. And all that without any ritual or any dark magic.

What Orion was giving to the wizarding world was nothing less than gold but it would only after they really tried out what he mentioned in the book, right now Marcus didn't care much about the book because he didn't believe what Orion had written.

Marcus continued, "We'll work on the printing and distribution. Your book will be on the shelves for aspiring witches and wizards to discover."

Over the following weeks, Orion collaborated with the team at Flourish & Blotts, fine-tuning the layout, and cover design, and ensuring that every detail met his vision. The day finally arrived when the first copies of "A Chaotic Core" were stacked on the bookstore shelves.

Yup, Orion named his first book after the very start of his own journey in this magical world. It also suits the book as he puts tons of information about the natural chaos of the world and how magic is formed by chaos and the magical core inside magicals.

The enchanting cover caught the eye of passing witches and wizards, and soon, Orion's book garnered attention throughout Diagon Alley. As the first edition flew off the shelves, Orion realized that his dream of sharing magical knowledge with the world was becoming a reality.

Word spread, and soon, other magical bookstores and publishers expressed interest in Orion's work, well that was many thanks to Marcus' own word-of-mouth promotion.

Orion even took out copies of his own book to gift to the teacher in Hogwarts and some of his friends.

"Red, mind helping me send these books to professors in Hogwarts and my other friends," Orion asked wanting to save the cost of a courier, acting like a cheap slate but Red just chirped and agreed.

He too knows that Orion not gonna spend a penny more if he doesn't have to.
